    32 camera DVR

if u are looking for 32cameras i think best and cost effective way is go for 32 cameras with ComART dvr board with Luxriot dvr software. anyone here know beside ComART dvr board can support up tp 32 cameras with its expand of doughter board, ANY OTHER dvr board in the market can support up to 32 cameras in a single motherboard? sound interesting in saving cost...earn monehy hehe
  3. this is sound interesting,. so far i have connecting 2 remote site with 2 cameras each. i am using the center software to connect the 2 site, i can view 4 cameras in total now, but the retails shop is still in expending they cctv system very soon, i will going to connect more than 20 site, this add up to about 40 cameras in total. now concern....is the kodicom center software able to connect all the 20 site remote dvr? and will it able to view more than 40 cameras in one Monitor screen? big concern..... anyone here experinece before to use the CENTER software to connect more than 20 remotr dvr system? with more than 32 cameras? or it is limited to only 16 cameras ? Problem ! have to solve to make practical retail shop remote surveillance. thanks
  4. hello guy, have u use Comart or provideo before? i got to know thier dvr card recently i i found these card is good use for generic dvr software and driver, (they do provide a generic driver for windwos n linux) both card can run with Luxriot. anyone here experience before betwwen Pico2000 and Provideo143p ? their spec looks alike but not sure the quality, but i expereinced pico is S**K, video quality not good. how about ComART ? please share thanks.

    PC-based LINUX dvr system

mission: to built a standalone PC-based linux dvr system. objective: remote surveilance feature need: remote view, remote playback, ftp image uploads this is a very simple dvr function i need to built for a linux system for bt8xx capture card. i have found the bt8xx generic driver at http://www.linuxtv.org/v4lwiki/index.php/Bttv_devices_%28bt848%2C_bt878%29 a very good software to capture video n image "Motion" software at: http://www.lavrsen.dk/twiki/bin/view/Motion/WebHome a good ftp upload function (Canstream software) at: http://www.smcc.demon.nl/camstream/ Problem; i cant get a all in one software that able to stream video over the internet and image uploader to ftp. am blur !, can anyone here tell me how to solve the linux software problem, after i have installed the driver for my capture card in Fedora ? if diginetSite and Luxriot were supporting linux under GNU license ! how good...(am dreaming)
  8. multicam it is suck huh,..hemm....i believe so, not better than luxriot, but lyxriot is expensive man ! if luxriot wre comes out with the ftp uploads.;..then it would be a perfect dvr software, where we can configure our own web server for view in WAP thru 3G/GPRS seriously speaking,..usb webcam in the market is now getting matured and more picture quality n smoother tranfer rate..so if we were targeting those small SOHO market or mummy monitor childs,..this would be the best cheap solution..plus together with the webcam software(prefrered freeware) heheh
  9. anyone here tried before with the Pysoft ActiveWebcam remote view software? how is the remote video play quality ? if we were compare it with kodicom dvrnet. i like activewebcam because it has the ability to upload image to ftp n web server. so i can configure the web myself and can view from the WAP phone.
  10. I have dun some survey in term of marketing, if we were able to target on mobile phone user, instead of only pc user. because mobile is a very very huge market, every one with a mobilephone, and it is much more pratical in term or "romote VIEW" thier is over 60% or population in malaysia having mobilephone out of 26million population in total (how bour your country?) so far i found go1984 software with j2ME support GEOvisionis great mobile view support. i like her i-mode and symbian support it would be better if other dvr card can have this feature too. i found one from europe, ALTERSYSTEM, they oem from Avermedia and developed their own dvr software with symbian support. what do u guy think ? mobile market huh !
