  1. Hello all, I am designing an exhibit for a museum. In the exhibit, children will be able to control an external PTZ camera via (hopefully) an arcade-type rugged joystick(pan/tilt) and a large rocker switch(zoom). What I am wondering, is if there is a product available that would transmit Pelco D/P or any common protocol, based on "contact closure." Ideally, what this would resemble is a microcontroller/SoC which could spit out UP,DOWN,LEFT,RIGHT, etc. messages in the correct format based on the closure of several switches which we would attach to it. I understand that descriptions of these protocols are widely available and we could make something like this with a little R&D, but I'd rather use something "Off-the shelf" and with a warranty, etc. Does anyone know of such a device?
