  1. Good day expert CCTV'rs! Looking for some recommendations to upgrade my existing 4 camera DVR system currently installed and working on my home. Generally speaking the old system, purchased about 5 years ago has worked ok, but I really want to improve on the video quality. I currently have the following: - 4 x weatherproof day/night CCD Color Dome Cameras - 1/3" 480 Line Sony CCD - 1 x DVR AVC-760 4-CHANNELS - generic brand - mpeg-4 Specifically can I upgrade my DVR only and get a noticeably improved picture quality? or do I have to replace the whole system? I really could use an expert recommendation. Must support remote access viewing over the internet, iphone & android tablet support. THANKS!

    AVC760 / iphone / firmware

Sorry for the delay in replying. I tried AVTECH app from appstore. Configured it two ways... Local IP while on wifi and my static IP over 3G network. In both cases when you go to connect it goes to a blank screen. Two buttoms at the top... Addressbook and i (information buttom). Pressing the i button shows that I am connected with resolution unknown, with frame rate of 0.0.
  3. Looking for some help. Situation... like many people out there I want to access my DVR system via my iphone. I tested with totalcontrolapp folks to test my system, but no luck. I believe I may be running an old firmware version, so I would like to upgrade and test again. Would anyone have firmware that would work with the following system? AVC760 - 4 channel DVR - model 3 (no USB port on the back of the unit) - I believe this is an an old version 760, ie. I can run both Video Server E and Video Viewer software - current firmware: 2011-10-k8-04-aa-14 Thanks!
