    Newbie needs DVR

Ive been looking at Avermedia SA6000E or SA9000E DVR's. They seem to have the adjustable frame rate I'm looking for. I know they dont have a 9 channel but that is ok. i feel I need the resolution and frame rate to catch the thief. It seems like so monay times servielance video is fuzzy and jumpy. Any other suggestions?

    vga recording frame rate

Thanks for the reply. A little more info please. I'm looking at a SA6000E Pro by Avermedia. It has a VGA rec frame rate of 240fps with a CIF rec rate of 480. What is the difference?

    Newbie needs DVR

I have a good handle on television technology. I'm an engineer for a public television station. But I'm way behind when it comes to cctv security. Especially DVR's. I have a family project that I have been asked to undertake. I need a DVR that is: 1. 9 cameras or more 2. Do at least 15fps on every channel. 3. close to NTSC resolution. on record 4. ease of use 5. reliable. Any suggestions or advise is welcomed. Thank you.
