  1. I am looking for a pinhole camera in a Function PIR. Several years ago there were many of these to choose from (CAM940, Kalatel, ProVideo, etc) at a reasonable price but now I just can't find one anywhere. Any Suggestions?? I do NOT want IR LEDs.
  2. I don't know why this has to be so difficult, but it is. I am trying to find a DVR that will record when it receives an Alarm input (from PIR). I want to record for 2 to 5 minutes. I would like to record for 30sec or so pre-alarm. It would be nice if each Alarm input were associated only with that specific camera/channel, but I can live if all channels record simultaneously on any Alarm input tripping. On playback, I only want to playback alarm activated events and, ideally, would like simultaneous playback of all cameras attached to DVR on one screen. I need support for iOS and Android PLUS a non-ActiveX app for a Windows PC for remote viewing. I also want an email with snapshots on any Alarm. Can anyone suggest some DVRs that I can look at. I have spent hours trolling the internet but this level of detail is never available for any of the DVRs. Thanks for your help
  3. Thanks for the replies. I have now learned that either Tooway or Eutelsat (or both) block ALL TCP/IP Ports. Therefore no devices that rely on TCP/IP ports to be identified on the Internet are going to work. If anyone knows of a Port number that has been verified to work, I would certainly appreciate this information. Thanks Charles
  4. I have a Zmodo DVR successfully connected to the internet and can view all 9 cameras remotely from my laptop in most locations including US and Europe. The problem is that I get the error message=connection failed (2), Reason: (-3)no stream timeout: when I try to connect using a Satelite Modem in Ireland, a TooWay Satelite system using the Eutelsat Eurobird 3 transponder. Any suggestions about why I can view the cameras from an "Internet Cafe" in a nearby village on my laptop but not using the Tooway system?? Thanks
