It could mean that your ISP is not recognizing the router because of the changed MAC address. You may need to manually configure the mac address.

^I couldn't have said it better myself. ICR is the factor that matters here. Personally, I'm a fan of TDN. You'll have everything covered.

I just know that they're affordable compared to other brands. But I'd rather go for the tried and tested brands.

Any update on what happened? What did the broadband company told you? I may have to set up a system like this in the future as well.
