  1. Hello. A network cable has 4x2 twisted pairs. It is possible, to use a twisted-pair of a network cable (Cat...) to transmit the video signal with a passive "balun". It is possible to use a twisted pair for 12V. But can i use a twistet pair for a external CCTV microphone? These microphones with cinch out for the mic signal, and hollow socket/plug for 12V. Or do I need a special Adapter or "Audio-Balun" (?)? Or do I have to use a seperate video balun for audio?
  2. Hello. I seek advice. Where are the major differences between these three DVR cards: CCTV-PB0254 8CH Real-time DVR Card Video/Audio H.264 D1 PCI-E 1X: http://www.camera2000.com/en/8ch-real-time-dvr-card-video-audio-h-264-d1-pci-e-1x-win7-32bit.html CCTV-PB0203 H.264 8CH D1 PCI-E DVR Card Network Embedded for CCTV Security: http://www.camera2000.com/en/h-264-8ch-d1-pci-e-dvr-card-network-embedded-for-cctv-security.html "Best Sellers" Is the second 8ch card better? Where are the major differences? * Very important to me is full PAL resolution recording at ~25fps. * 64Bit is desirable. The manufacturer of CCTV-PB0254 ("JVM") told me, that the card supports 64-bit Windows (in the CD-download from camera2000 is a 64bit driver). Despite the camera2000 note: "Note: This card can not be used on 64bit computer.". * A Android app is desirable What is with this card?: CCTV-DCK1156X D1 Record 16CH H.264 PCI-E DVR Card Mobile Phone View Win7 64bit: http://www.camera2000.com/en/d1-record-16ch-h-264-pci-e-dvr-card-mobile-phone-view-win7-64bit.html Are there disadvantages to the better (which?) 8ch card? She has 16ch, iphone and Android app, designated 64bit support etc. And the price is nearly the same. More video channels and more functions for the same price? Is there a catch? Thanks
  3. Hello. I have seen these passive balun adapters. Use this adapters only one wire (and shield)? I have a Everfocus EQ1600 CCTV camera. This is the backpanel: This the Pin assignments: Can 6 control pins (1 seems unused) and BNC transmitted via RJ45? Are there ready BNC/RJ45-Balun, with connections for the unused wires? I could solder (internaly glued a piece from a prototype PCB) a terminal block on the backside of the camera, and connect internally to the pins of the connector bottom left. Then I could connect the terminal block to the BNC Balun. This special plug ( HR10A-7P-6S ) is rare and expensive (you know a cheap source?). A terminal block would be a stopgap solution..... Exist (external isolated) "1-pin connectors"? Then I could plug in each wire on each single pin (~0.5mm). What are the name for a slim plug for a single contact pin? Thanks
  4. Hello. I have three of this cameras. Here is the back: 6 pins. What is this input? Are there combined power supplies with controllers? Or how does it work? Is this a standard? The internal connector between the boards: Thanks...
