CCTV setup for taking pictures of plants

I'm kind of a n00b when it comes to the various types of cameras, but I would assume that you're in the right place. What you need is a surveillance like camera and this is what the forum is about. I would think that all you would have to do is alter the settings to take a snapshot every hour. Call a retailer and inquire about what cameras can do that job. If you already have a camera, you can perhaps take the footage and cut it in a video editing program -- thus extracting a frame of footage. Hope this was any sort of help. Good luck!
  2. Wow...now THAT was interesting. In all the years that I've worked security, I don't think I've EVER seen anything quite that strange. I've seen robberies, violence among other awful things, but never *ahem* someone taking care of nature's business. Guess there are oddballs everywhere! Thanks for sharing. . . I think. LOL.
  3. Hi guys! As I mentioned in a previous post, I'm trying to open up a wholesale camera business and I'm looking for what sorts of inventory to purchase. I'm a little naive when it comes to what cameras are being utilized, so what cameras do you guys think I should stock up on? What will sell and what won't sell? I just don't want to waste my money on items that I know won't sell. If anyone can help me out, I'd appreciate it. Thanks!

Need help. Never bought a cctv system

Setting up a generic camera is one thing, but if you want to add bells and whistles, your best bet is to go to a professional. Now, if you're worried about the cost of purchase and set up, you can probably set up a payment plan seeing as you're a reputable business. If your store is doing well, then you shouldn't have an issue replenishing your funds. How many cameras do you actually want to set up? I know that some liquor stores have about 2 or 3.

    CCTV Wholesale Newbie

Hey there, everyone! My name is Irene and I'm a newbie to the forums. I've been working in the security industry for about 10 years now and I'm thinking of starting up my own wholesale CCTV business. I started off as a security guard and worked my way up to the security overseer at a local armored truck company. Essentially, I'm wanting to sell cameras to both businesses and families. My sister has worked in the wholesale industry for about 5 years, so I've learned a thing or two about the wholesale industry. However, despite my knowledge of security, I want to learn more about security technology (what would be the best equipment to sell? what's expensive/cheap? etc). Either way, I'm very glad to be here. Take care, everyone! I hope to meet you all soon!
