    HI Thanks mate it is so indeed . However i was thinking that, when plug in directly a mic into the notebook, i can listen to my voice ,,, so it should be when i plug in the jacj from the dvr. There could be another way not to use external speakers, and only use the computer's speakers.

    Hi i dont seem to figure out how to listen the audio, to the computer. I can listen to it fine when i connect the speakers, from the audio out. HOwever when i try to plug another cable with Rca jack adaptors plugged into the notebook, i cannot hear any sound. Can it be done ? Thanks for help
