  1. Sorry but I dont have any nightshots at the moment. KCM-5211 is indoor model without IR illuminator, but there is KCM-5211E - outdoor version, with SDR, defog, and 24 IR illominator so its propobly like 10-15 meters. But whats the point of having 24 ir leds on camera with 4.0 Mpixel and 18x zoom ?? Here are some low light samples, TCM-5611 vs KCM-5211 (there is 24 IR LED illuminator), 1/25s shutter. -oENaDzyMvU X4GTmOlSKMs

  3. Another one from Barbaria. IQ541 - nice, small, cheap, 1.3Mpixel cam, just look @ that: Motion detected face: lE_vJG-iERQ WDR lamp test: K-eJ16OTXcA Detail: pxjEHjACgIQ
  4. Look at that D130 dome camera, it looks just like ACTi same spec
  5. any night shots? I have this shot from IQ755. pFxv7FH1CCA

  7. Believe me it's night You can see time in the lower left. I was also surprised IQA32 =/= IQ752, I rly like those cams, but IQ752 have 1/2" CMOS, and Alliance series 1/3" and you can see difference.
  8. Its 0.4 to 0.7 fps Shutter with lightgrabber off, is set to " use 1/50s or more", with lightgrabber "on", shutter was set to "optimize quality". I can't put any other cam there :/ so no comparison I have other IQ752 installation in 2-3 weeks, so I will make some comparisons.
  9. Guys, can you take that DSLR discussion in different thread ? New video, IQeye IQ752, night, streetlight. First 30 seconds - without Lightgrabber function, next 30 sec. Lightgrabber x1 Sorry for frame rate, low cost connection. vWx21ebiOKY

    (5) 1-2MP cams on 10/100 switch?

Shouldn't it be "total of all the ports" x2?

    (5) 1-2MP cams on 10/100 switch?

Keep in mind that not only 10/100 or 10/100/1000 parameter matters. Check port buffer size on your switch, for megapixel cams it should be 190k or more. My cilent was using D-Link 10/100/1000 10 port switch with 8x GeoVision BX120D (1.3Mpixel H.264, 30fps) - and there was some short "freezes" on video. This switch had 64k buffer, we changed it for fast ethernet Cisco SRW208 with 2 gigabit ports - and now video is smooth.
  12. I've made this video to show clients how Exposure Windows in IQeye cameras work: Yh1HQxjF7Ec I like that feature, it's fast and easy to set. Do You know any other cams that have similar feature?
  13. Another one from ACTi: KCM-5211 - 4.0 Mpixel, 18x optical zoom. Distance - 100m On maximum zoom + lil' bit digital zoom you can read that warning sign on door. p_CV9zHB6po I was testing it on Exacq Vision, works rly good, but i noticed one thing. When You set presets on that zoom camera, camera have to focus every time you go to that preset. Its quite fast, but still You have to wait about 2-3 seconds. On GeoVision, when You set preset, its saved with focus value, so its much faster: Same camera, but on GeoVision preset: a5yPpUmJ4aU
  14. Huh, it dosn't look good, it is more like 1.0 Mpixel quality than 2.0 Here is low cost GeoVision 1.3Mpixel: eHk1tKCAmkE
  15. thank you for the suggestion i found also this one: FI8905W $75-100 http://foscam.us/products/foscam-fi8905w-outdoor-wireless-ip-camera-23.html LogiLink WC0016 $183 http://www.logilink.eu/showproduct/WC0016.htm?seticlanguage=en and i dont know which to take, if the price difference is really worthy? OMG Foscam, I hate those cams, its like webcamera with ethernet port. I used them once, and I wont do it again. Just like "Grand IP cameras" - SUCKs HARD!
  16. It seams that I set shutter on "fixed" on night shots and forgot to set it back to minimum value I will make new vids, but I have to wait for new camera, that one was sold.
  17. This is what You get for ~170$ here in Poland:
  18. If you want to record in total darkness you need IR leds. IR leds behind window = bad idea Camera will be blinded by reflection.

    Exacq problem

Here is list of supported cams - http://www.exacq.com/support/ipcams.php Find yours and click on "details". Sometimes exacq don't support some newer firmwares.
  20. ACTi KCM-5111 Evatar M13VM2812IR 2.8~12mm LENS here is movie sample: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/6833159/ACTi/KCM.youtube/dabrowskiego.Avi Night time b/w and color, without IR: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/6833159/ACTi/KCM.youtube/parking.Avi

    IQM32NE-B5 vs FD8361 vs TCM-7411

IQM32NE-B5 is rly nice, it's my favourite dome camera. Clear image @ day, and nice night performance. ACM-7411 - well, its not that great comparing to IQM32 , maybe KCM-7111 or KCM-7211, they are WAY better than ACM-7411, but also more expensive. Vivotek FD8361 - I don't like build in IR illuminators in those cameras, I had some problems with them (blinding my camera). So IQM32NE > FD8361 > ACM-7411

    3mp samsung with pics

Night shot looks ok, but lots of noise. What was the shutter speed? Also, day shot dosn't look good for 3. Mpix cam it's rly "soft"
  23. No IR, only street lamp light. Have't seen any IQeye3 camras. I have IQM32NE-B5 right now. I will make some shots today @ night.
  24. Don't work with the KCM-7211. Got it sittin right here next to me on the bench and the power LED's are brightly lit. HTTP acknowleged the that the setting was now zero but it had no effect on the actual status. Well KCM is new series in ACTi, they said that CGI commands will work in about 1 month with a new firmware.
  25. Hello I recommend IQeye cameras, here is IQ755 shot, 1/50 shutter speed: And IQeye have way better night cams, like IQM32 or IQ752. Is this quality that you are lookin' for?
