  1. Hello Do you guys have any info about MTBF of CCTV cameras? I have found info about Hikvision 4 series and PTZ cameras, both ~100.000-106.000h For example some old ACTi TCM-1231 cameras had only 35.500h Mobotix - 80.000h (they was showing this number on one of their trainings) I'm interested how this looks like in other brands, like Avigilon, SONY, AXIS.
  2. This is what we called "Hikvision Gotham Project". If you are interested how powerful this IR LASER in Hikvision PTZs, you will like this video DS-2DY9187-AI8 qIMlk3P0wbI
  3. Firmware version? It's common bug in firmware before 5.3.6 Just update your camera

I'm using and selling this software So, here are some fast facts about iVMS-5200: It has client-server architecture Only Windows version (server suggested) 5200 can support 3rd party cameras (that's why it's paid software I think) Active Directory support It supports more complex e-maps More alarm pop-ups Alarm windows and divisions Business Intelligence package - you can make global heat maps by getting data from all heat map and ppl counting cameras. POS integration. Panel for easy health check of all devices Hikvision Access control integration module Global Positioning system for mobile DVRs and Personal DVRs Redundant server support

    New Dahua 4K - 12MP camera - IPC-HF81200E

Because it's like 6 meters high and there is only one mounting and one ethernet cable. Difference in time is like an hour or so. Only difference is the lighting on this sign. Damn, I hate it when I try to make honest comparison test, standing on -10oC freezing my ass off and everyone is suspecting some kind of manipulation or marketing action Here is live view of DS-2CD4065F-AP camera, almost same sensor (1/1.8"), you can check how it works at night. http://hotel-bania.webcamera.pl/ Here is snapshot from this camera made around midnight, cloudy sky, no moon: https://www.dropbox.com/s/wxdl8b3z4sp4y2l/4065.png?dl=0 EDIT: Here is 4K video, not night, but dusk: TNRLnC7mVEw This model that I have don't support H.265, but there is H.264+. I'm still waiting for 4K with H.265 and 12MPixel box. Fortunately Hikvision NVRs support H.265 recording AND 4K resolution display, I mean new I series, like DS-7608NI-I2

    New Dahua 4K - 12MP camera - IPC-HF81200E

I found that 4K cameras from Hikvision have better low light performance than standard FullHD cameras. Have you seen my last uploads? FkqY5RR8uEk Maybe Dahua will use same sensors?
  9. Comparison video, to show low light performance of new 4K Hikvision cameras: FkqY5RR8uEk Also image: https://www.dropbox.com/s/7ggnw1rld4vcizi/vlcsnap-2015-12-09-17h07m12s610.png?dl=0 As you can see, 1/1.7" sensor is a rly good choice Also, here is live video of 6MP DS-2CD4065F: http://hotel-bania.webcamera.pl/ also outstanding night vision. Those are my new favorite cams now
  10. New Thermal cameras from Hikvision, I have like 50 videos, will post them all soon. 40mm lens box thermal camera. Recorded during night, light rain, testing how deep I can go inside thick bushes and still be detected by thermal image camera (about 50 meters) yGbpIg198Io 40mm lens box thermal, detail test, as you can see, you can almost see through the cloths ltDbBurCItI

    exacqVision Virtual licensing

You need 1x exacqVision Enterprise Server license + Exacq Pro licence for every camera you want to connect.
  12. Picture from last night DS-2DY9187-AI8 camera I was surprised, because of rly cloudy sky, I couldn't see moon with my own eyes, just blurry glowing orb
  13. Some new videos: Hikvision DS-2CD4A85F-IZS: yt-9R5Wp73A Hikvision pinhole camera WDR test: t9m71e3_1CU

    Hikvision Nvr's

    Sure, here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/m4azw1kuhdbykww/porownanie_nvr_v1.xlsx?dl=0
  15. Just upgraded my old unit to 3.3.4 firmware and now it supports 80 Mbps incoming So it looks like it's new firmware. But to be sure, I would just order NVR with newest firmware on board already installed, because I have some maple unit (it hase some bonus functionality), so it could be a little different than those available on market.
  16. What new one? I thought all 8-ch are 50 in/80 out.
  17. Check that you have enough spare bandwidth on this NVR, also, un-check H.264+ in this camera. Old firmware on NVR doesn't support it.
  18. Two new videos! Hikvision Laser PTZ IR Range test - 270m: 3zmpauG7qZ8 And here is in comparison to Darkfighter PTZ standard IR with 200m range: J90TMm6CcQk
  19. Hello, Korgoth is back I have a project - live stream of a paintball match for about 100-200 ppl. So I thought that using Youtube is a great idea for this! Here is a sample that I want to test. It's live stream, using Hikvision cam, 1.5Mbps internet (upload) and laptop (as media server) of a aquarium in my apartment. Could you check it out and tell me what you think about it? bE7CJSsKZrI
  20. Only Geovision stuff is licence free in Geovision. Also if you need for example alarm I/O you have to use GV cams or GV cards/iobox So yeah, get different software, like maybe AXXON or Milestone, you have some free licences and it's much more stable that GV
  21. The Dahua NVR built in POE ports are like switches.. why can't you directly plug a router to it and access it via wifi after setting router to 10.1.1.1? Because it's not like switch, it's camera-per-port, same thing in Hikvision PoE NVRs. Check if there is something like "virtual host", this will make cameras visible on same IP address as NVR but different port. Like NVR is 192.0.0.1, 1 IP camera will be visible as 192.0.0.1:65001 from web, but still inside NVR it will be 10.1.1.1
  22. All Hikvision cams have corridor mode - you can rotate the view 90 degrees, so you have 9:16 aspect ratio - just like the picture you sent. But of course you have to turn camera, that is why dome camera will be better. You mount it on ceiling and rotate sensor 90 degree and then enable corridor mode in camera. 90 ft - it's something like 30m right? And what do you want to see on the end of this corridor? A person, or face? I think min. ress should be 2.0 Mpixel, and 4mm lens.

    Hikvision VS Viewer

Sorry, I forgot about this thread Ok. So you can do something like this: 1. Put VSPlayer 7.1.1 on USB stick It doesn't need administrator rights, it doesn't need to be installed, just run it. You can download newest version from here: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/6833159/soft/VSPlayer%207.1.1.zip This software will also show video analytic "frames", like from face detection, tracking, virtual line etc. You can make digital zoom, watch different cams at same time, sync. playback and so on. 2. Using local output and mouse from NVR Just add files to download, click export and then mark "Player". This player is rly basic, but it works.
  24. Man, stop getting prices from some Asian websites, those are fake. I've got dome version of this camera (indoor) and it costs $1258 MSRP (manufacturer's suggested retail price), even if you get super discount It wont be even close to 327 USD. They put 1/1.7" sensor inside those 4k cameras, so the lens part probably cost more than 327USD. Maybe if you buy it using "smart-try" program, but you can get only get 2 cameras. You might be on to something here. I'm going by the pricing that NiToNi has provided in the previous Hikvision 4K camera thread and he has listed this : http://item.taobao.com/item.htm?spm=a230r.1.0.0.4qnN2v&id=44906942673&ns=1#detail And looking at that url very closely, I don't think it is for the DS-2CD4585F-I(Z)(H) as the highest resolution listed in the link above is only 1920x1080. NiToNi, do you have a reliable link for the DS-2CD4585F-I(Z)(H)? The one you posted in the previous thread appears to be for a different camera unfortunately. I work very close to Hikvision, like FOR Hikvision (kind off) right now, so I think my prices are accurate
