  1. This is the URL to get RTSP streaming: RTSP://192.168.1.19:554/live from those cameras. It is not compatible with Milestone or CyeWeb. I heard they are working on ONVIF standard. Nothing release yet so far.
  2. Hi Daskew, Your IPC supports ONVIF but only limit to Core spec v1.02. The lastest Core spec is v2.1 now. Here is the situation in Asia, the manufactuers are working on the ONVIF. It takes time as it needs to re-program almost the whole software. There's worse thing that ONVIF keep updating the spec. The manufacturers will not jump in the lastest version, or they can find the end forever.

GEN IV DVR - G4-RTA16X password?

You may need to contact the suppliers to reset the password. Different suppliers have different way to reset the password after the system is locked. For our DVR, we generate the temporarily password basing on the time on the DVR, it is only valid in 24hours.
  5. There're two way to control the motorized zoom lens. Applying receiver(decorder) which receives the RS485 command and convert to the current signal. Another solution is the controller (NOT RS485 joystick) which can send the current signal directly to the motorized zoom lens. With the controller, you are unable to control the lens remotely thru network.

Yes. You need RS232 to RS485 convetor. If you don't have the DVR card, you may need a small testing software to send the command to the PTZ dome.
