  1. " title="Applause" /> As usual, you guys are amazing. " title="Applause" />
  2. At our concierge desk, current smoke-detector camera and microphone is combined and modulated (channel 81) to (3) tvs. On the newer LCD TV, video & voice are heard. On the older tube TVs, only video. NO VOICE. Took the newer LCT TV to the older tube TV locations. Video & Voice are coming through. Took the older tube TVs to the LCD location. ONLY video. May I know why is this happening? Thanks for your aid.
  3. The camera has to be an analog type. At our new complex, need to clearly see what is written on the concierge desk which is 90" from the ceiling. The desk is 30"x30". Due to above requirements, I do understand that we need a longer mm lens that what a smoke-detector camera can offer, any idea? Thanks for your aid
  4. Back to our problematic Mobotix at our concierge desk. The residents want a 23” or larger LCD screen at the front desk showing what is being seen by the Mobotix. They want the highest resolution and smoothest movement. This is the sole function of the PC, not to record, only to display the monitor. What specs should be of this PC? Of course, I prefer this PC to have the highest ratio of performance/dollars spent. Grazie tanto.

    lens adapter?

The lens, which fit the older intellisense camera, is too big for the cvc190.

    lens adapter?

B/W camera, even w/ new transformer, in storage room is dead. We have a Provideo cvc 190 in box. The old lens which is Cosmicar 8mm does not fit the new camera. What adapter do I need? Thanks

    Simple question, I hope.

We have a Mobotix 3 megapixel camera at the concierge desk. While the camera has storage issues, the display is quite good. The mobotix is hooked up to an POE switch. There is an old computer that is VGA to a 21" computer monitor. The old one is also attached to the POE switch. The pure function of this computer is to display what is going on at the front desk. The Charlie Chaplin movement is giving me massive migraine. What is the minimum acceptable computer speed, video card...do I need to see movement at concierge desk as smooth as silk? Thanks.

    Mobotix issues

Dear Griffonsystems, Spend the whole day going over the manuals. Only the Germans can do this. The Storage Targets: SMB/CIFS File Server Status: Currently CIFS on 192.168.1.211/entrycam Storage Options: File Server IP: 192.168.1.211 Remote Directory /Share: entrycam User name: master password: xxxxxxx NTLM Mode: NTLM Storage Size: "blank"; box before Maximum size in megabytes used to store alarm images and sequences is CHECKED. Time to Keep: 7 days Number of Sequences: "blank"; box before Maximum number of sequences to store is CHECKED. Much thanks for your time.
  11. for 16 or less camera. I visisted their site and did not see software. I am taking down the Mobotix and replacing it with a new ACTI that previous management bought and never used.
  12. I am the new manager of this apartment complex. We have (1) Mobotix, POE switch, Ioemga IX2-200 4TB NAS. The whole network is just that with connection to router. Identical problem since installation of 15 months ago. After 9 days of recording (storage around 23GB to 90GB), the Mobotix still shows recording. But last event would be last night or hours ago. The NAS is dedicated only to one camera. Contacted Mobotix, they say it is a network issue - "Mobotix is looking for target drive and can't find it." Now this is strange because the NAS is not setup as DHCP and when I access the administrative menu, under storage, I see the address of the NAS and it is GREEN with no issue. Idea?
