  1. Anybody has any statistics on how often things go wrong with DVR installations ? Would it make sense for the SIs to offer this as a value added offering ? ie instead of doing a manual inspection every month/quarter - they get notified in real time if anything goes wrong. 2. Have anyone felt the need for a DVR management & monitoring solution. At a broad level it is a cloud based service which provides DVR management ,camera failure notification ,MIS reports,SLA tracking, trouble tickets and real time recording of cameras to our offsite storage. Basically Surveillance Infrastructure Monitoring s targeted at integrators who wants to offer value added service after installation and at organizations who need to manage/monitor their diverse CCTV assets effectively.
  3. Do you want to monitor the DVRs,Cameras and other associated surveillance related equipment over IP ?. Milo http://www.vuelogix.com

    Remote recording from multiple sites

As Soundy as suggested - You can choose few important cameras in each store and connect them to an IP encoder and record them at your office. If bandwidth at the office is an issue- you can store the recordings on a cloud based hosted video surveillance solutions. If you are worried about security of the cloud based solution you can deploy the solution in a dedicated server in any of the data centers and modify your firewall rules so that the server can access the cameras/ip encoders. Also if the software works with your existing DVR ,you would not even need the IP encoders. Hope this is has been useful. Milo http://vuelogix.com
