Hi tomcctv, Thanks for the suggestion, but I went with the AVN362, I did go to the websites of the other camera manufactors that were placed here, and I couldn't really find a camera that suited my needs. So the moderator(s) can close this topic!

Hi Leohuangdi, Again thanks for your reply! Really appreciate it! I always thought that the only thing that could improve the IR image quality were the leds. More leds means better IR image quality, never thought about a digital processor and apertures. Goes to show you my knowledge on camera's, haha. Anyway thanks alot for helping me, and thanks for the info! Looks like I got some searching to do!

Hi Leohuangdi, Thanks for your reply! So I looked up the "avn362" camera, and I must say it's quite impressive, seeing the specs and watching a couple of video's on Youtube. It's around 100 Euro's more compared to the camera I posted in the OP (the AVtech outdoor H.264) but from what I gathered, it is well worth the money. I also looked up on some Vivotech camera's, and yeah they are quite awesome! But unfortunatly, so are the prices! Also, about the "avn362" camera, it's got 56 IR Led light's, now on some Dutch webstores it says that it's got 40 meter IR vision, and on the official Avtech site, it says 25 meter IR vision, so with 56 IR leds, how much IR distance can you get? Not to sound stupid, but since my knowledge on camera's is pretty much zero, I would rather first ask around before buying something that is quite expensive. Also what are some other good and well known camera manufactures? I know: -Avtech -Vivotech -Axis -Elro Oh and before saying or thinking, google it yourself, I'm already doing that, I just would really appreciate the help and advice I can get from the pro's and the people that know there thing! Hey all, First off all, I am new here so hi to everyone! Now, I've been looking for a nice outdoor IP/network security camera, now this is one I've been thinking of buying: [mod edit: store link removed - camera specs from link follow] It is a Dutch website, but the description is in English. Now my question is (and I hope I dont sound stupid) is this a good camera? Is it worth the money? If it aint, could you guys maybe help me to find a good IP/network camera? These are the things the camera must have: - Atleast 30 meter IR/night vision. - IP 66 (dust & water proof) - Motion detection. - For outdoor use. - The maximum price that I'm willing to pay for the camera is around +/- 280 Euro's And probably some more things, that I cant come up with now. Oh and another thing, are there any Dome camera's that have the same requirements stated above, or are Dome's more for inhouse use? My knowledge on camera's isn't exactly high, so I hope that some of you guys can help me out! Thanks in advance!
