I had same problems with more iq 511 cameras in the past. We had 12VDC power. My solution was replace wirh new (RMA); But no problems with 7xx... -

I have two SNC-CH240 cameras; Outdoor with additional IR; Because camera has "AUTO BACK-FOCUS" can correct focus when switch, BW/Color or Color/BW, but sometimes camera forger to do "Auto Focus" after switch (BW/C or opposite). It can happen once a week Any ideas?? -
Buy Nuuo, it's cheap If you have only one camera you can try LuxRiot; Not the best but OK For more => there is some SW running on Linux...
