  1. Dear All, I need some help. Can someone please tell me the cable layout for linking the Averdigi Eh 1004 h to a pos device? Both are RS 232 9 pin male the pos side is PC standard RS232. and what are the settings for the DVR? hope you can help out. chears Tom
  2. Thank you for the useful reply! Can you also let me know what settings you used on the EH1004h under pos settings? And what the flow control was used with the 7&8 cross and the 6&4 cross cable? Thank you.
  3. I'me sorry but can't get this to work. Here is what i've done: AX 3000: journal transfer, Com2 ,9600,8,n,1, no flow control Cable 2 sud-d f-male : 5-5 2-3 3-2 Averdigi Eh1004h: POS setting: protocol: general, com1, 9600 (no text filter, no keywords) camera1 checked what am i doing wrong? PS: "Ipos live" is grayed out.
  4. just for my information, Can the Averdigi eh1004h be connected directly to the pos? Or must this be used with posbox and/or ipos software? regards Tom
  5. thank you for the reply, but i unfortunly don't know what you mean in your last reply. The Averdigi EH1004h has some options for pos, i can select a protocol, and thats about it. my question: cable layout from pos to Averdigi EH1004h and the settings to be used. please help Cheers Tom

  7. Yes, Its Uniwell AX 3000 It has Journal data transfer (no printer needed) i can setup a comport for this and set it anyway i like. Cheers Tom

    What type of DVR

    OK hello all, Hope you can help me. I am in the netherlands and looking for: a low cost Embedded DVR with: 4-8 channels etc... etc... !!!-!!! POS (point of sale) journal text data on screen (say 15 - 20 lines) of selected channel captured by ethernet (UDP) (not serial rs232) !!!-!!! and search on any of the text data from the POS to find the footage that is needed. please can someone help me with this? best regards Tom

    Thank you for the replies, but ill try to explain. 1 If a customer all-ready has a pc he wants everything build in to his own pc. 2 When pc based system is used endues can install a lot of different applications on it, witch in case of error we have to resolve. 3 Embedded is simple to replace in error case. just swap. 4 embedded i can't expediently put windows settings in a way that camera recording can stop like gaining to sleep etc. 5 Simple power up and ready! @ tomcctv. can this aver-media nano capture pos data true TCP/IP ? regards, Tom

    Thank you, I'dd like to keep away from PC based system, to complex for endusers i want something basic and cheaper like the averdigi nano series, but they don't support UDP ps I use Uniwell tills.
