Thanks. That is much better!
Try this Lens Simulator. Just select one of the Scene Images and plug in the Sensor Size and Focal Length. -
I didn't want a lens calculator tool. I wanted a side by side of 3.6 vs. 6mm FOV. Thanks though.

I would put more then two cameras on such a wide house but you can do what ever you like.
I would recommend a camera at (LOCATION 1) and the the second at (LOCATION 5) amusing that is the path leading to the door. Installing lighting ABOVE the camera not below, if you install below you will get a washed out image.

How much narrower is 6mm vs 3.6mm FOV?

I couldn't find them for a $1.00 a pair shipped on eBay.

Welcome 1984!
went out today and spotted 3 new council cameras.seriously! i walked less than a mile. this means that since jan, 5 have gone up. how many more do they want?
and whilst they are spending millions shoving cameras in everyones faces, they cut money away from services that help communities!

That's also a concern. Need to find an adjustable one with volume level. We don't want to bother the neighbors either. Any recommendation?
Thanks so much Soundy you are a wealth of knowledge.
blasting out the neighbors. -
I should put two speakers? Or the OHM on the driver has to match the speaker?
It's a "good idea" to make sure the two are close, but unless you're planning to push the system to its limits, it's not generally critical that they match exactly. -
I need a 30watt amp for my 30watt speaker? The mini amps I have seen are 10watt.
This one has an option for telephone paging though its underpowered for a 30watt speaker.

I want to put a speaker by a garage area. When someone double parks or blocks the garage I want someone to be able to push a button which triggers a playback of a prerecorded message.
Something like:
"You have parked illegally on private property, failure to properly park your vehicle will result in a tow. This is a private parking lot, a tow truck will be called for any vehicles in violation"
Anyone know of a voice driver which can do this and power a 30Watt Speaker?
Thanks.

It was cropped from a 4 camera view which is why its so small.
What dimentions is that picture? -
blah blah blah....put up some pics then of your cheap cameras better picsHere is one from a CIF dvr.
-
The pictures you provided show a lot of blur. This camera seems like a poor choice for a camera as I have seen cheaper cams perform better.
i use these cam all the time...you gotta play with the settings or something... -
Probably a cheap DVR. Cameras always look better when plugged in direct to tv.
Why is it that the views look sorta unclear? Is that just due to cameras not being totally focused, dvr,or what? -
The pinhole cameras aren't outdoor rated so they can be used outside without outdoor housing.
My favorite hidden cameras are hand made. You can put a good, small, pinhole camera in many places. -
I guess SAM never SUNG.

Front Door camera is 6mm lens?
-
So what are your favorite hidden cameras?
Has anyone ever used this style camera by doorbell?

That so sad. Did he get workers comp?
Had a kid working with me years ago had the flex bit bent, pulling out of a window sill, and it was arced over his head. It grabbed his hair when he spun the drill. 10 years later, that hair is still gone lol -
For a small van I cant imagine why you would need IP unless you really want super high resolution.
Are you monitoring the interior or exterior of the van?
What are you looking to see?
Need advice on camera placement

You can put the motion light anywhere you like as long as the camera can not see the fixture. If the camera sees the fixture or the light is below the camera you will get a blinded image.
