    Samsung CCTV menu access

I have several Samsung PTZ cameras at my location and I cannot believe what a hard time I am having accessing the internal menus of the cameras, I own a SCXRD100 coaxial controller but this only access A1 compatible cameras, and most PTZ Samsung are not, no matter what DVR I use if I put them in Samsung protocol I cannot find any preset to enter the menu, I can move them around and do all kind of presets but no magic menu button, for instance I in the past have had a Samsung DVR which has a mysterious menu button on it which accesses the cameras menu. Easy, should have kept that one. Right now I have an Everfocus ECOR 264d 9 channel which has the Samsung protocol but without this special menu button I can’t get into the cameras menus. There must be a way to figure out what commands this menu button sends. I spoke with Everfocus and got nowhere with them. I spoke with Samsung support and they said you need the keyboard controller with the menu button on it, which is about 600 dollars, that is an expensive button. I did find two presets that work in pelcoD preset 94 does autopan and preset 99 reboots the camera, after going through 254 of them that is all i get it to do in that protocol Anyone else had issues or know a solution,
  2. Just wondering if you figured this out yet, I spent a bunch of wasted hours trying to figure this out. If the samsung camera is in pelco p or pelco d mode you will be able to move the camera around, if this doesnt work i would look at what you mentioned the converter. But the samsung internal menu will only be pulled up if the samsung camera is in samsung T mode and the dvr is set to Techwin. Also it helps to have a samsung DVR with a menu button.
