  1. Hello, I am looking for some help with the CMS Pro software provided by digimerge. I'm having trouble finding any relevant troubleshooting help for the software. Run down of setup: 3 DVRs with 35 Cameras (DHU600) at one location, and 1 DVR with 8 Cameras (DHU600) at another location. All 4 DVRs are running perfectly. Their DDNS is smooth and clear when using Internet Explorer. There are 2 local computers at the first site that run CMS Pro 24/7, and 1 at the second site doing the same. There are several iPhones that are connected at random times, and 2 remote computers that are also connected at random times. The Problems: When CMS Pro is setup locally or remotely, after awhile of inactivity by user, several of the cameras (sometimes an entire DVR) will go black, or the image will freeze (usually noticed at first arrival in the mornings). THIS IS NOT A DISCONNECT, as you can still access the DVR through device setup. ALSO, the camera window still displays the camera name, and the time (It does not say disconnect). ALSO, other computers viewing the same DVRs will not freeze or go black at the same time, but eventually they all do.... User must either log off and then back on CMS Pro, or go to the "DEVICE" under "SYSTEM" to disconnect, and then reconnect the DVRs. This is very annoying, as it happens one to two times per twenty-four hours (Rarely will it go forty-eight hours without this problem). I have given the DVRs, and the Viewing computers Static IPs, thinking that the renewing of the DHCP IP address might be causing this. I've turned off ALL sleep/auto shut down/screen saver/drive saver/power saver options on the computers. Is this a problem with the Software? Is there a different program I could try? Considering it happens at different times on different systems (And I have tried uninstall/reinstall) I don't think it's the computers (Also, the computers are different OS). I also don't think it's the network, cause I could be remote viewing a camera with 3G on an IPhone, and then a local computer will lose video feed while another is fine. Or, as just happened, I had CMS Pro open and running remotely with no problems (For a couple of hours) and I got a call from security saying that their CMS Pro (LOCAL) just had the second DVRs cameras go black, but could still see the camera names and time for that DVR (The other DVRs were fine), they restarted and it was fine (mine was fine the entire time). It appears to be an issue with the Software. Is there a connection setting that's timing out? The CMS software and all firmware are totally up to date. There is only one setting that I don't know about, and that's in the DVRs themselves. Under "System"/"Control Device" you can choose several different protocols : D-Max, Ganz, Siemens, Mesa-KB, ICK-3000 (Default), and N-Control. Could this be my problem? What are these? What's the best option?

    Web Service Problem

Don't forget about port 554. Both 80 and 554 need to be forwarded as "Both"

    Please Help - DIGIMERGE

I had the same issue. The solution was in the Port Forwarding. Considering the standard ports of 80 and 554. I had my router set up to TCP 80, and UDP 554. With the result of connection, and no image. When I set 80 and 554 to "Both".. Or made another port forward to look like : TCP port 80 to 192.168.x.x UDP port 554 to 192.168.x.x TCP port 554 to 192.168.x.x UDP port 80 to 192.168.x.x Either way, the problem is that both ports need to be setup for both functions. If you have more then one DVR, the second one need it's own ports.. of course. Cheers
