About cuesporttech

  1. The ONLY thing I was able to find as far as online FAQ/tech support was this... (http://www.luxriot.com/eng/blog/how-to/how-to-add-and-configure-generic-jpeg-mjpeg-mpeg4-h264-cameras-with-luxriot-dvr-software/). I'm assuming with this cheaper 'Zmodo' card, I will surely have to add a 'Generic' card as it's not a main-stream card such as GeoVision and many others. Except this page is 'again' only geared toward IP cameras and I obviously need the capture card instead right now. I mean, my client also has like 2 IP cameras, but the other 24 are all CCTV cams hooked up through the DVR card, so this is my main focus right now. Thanks again for your help and I've been contributing to other threads as well.
  2. Wait a minute everyone... I doesn't sound like this guy is looking to run a DVR Server on MacOSX, but to 'VIEW' it from his Mac and also Windows Mobile phone. The only thing he's not clear about is whether his 'surveillance device' is a stand-alone DVR box or perhaps a Windows machine w/DVR card running the webserver software. Go to the app store on both your Mac and find a web browser called Skyfire, which incidentally has Flash built-in to the browser natively. You can also download an older version of Skyfire to work on your Windows Mobile 6.5 phone and that would be in the form of a .cab file. Once you have it installed, just type in the network address of your DVR webserver and you may consider one of the other viewing options on the home screen if it gives them to you, such as 'Server Push Mode' as Mozilla Firefox and Chrome use. You can only use ActiveX for Internet Explorer. Good Luck!
  3. This is directly off the company website here, so I know you're right, but I just can't figure it out and they don't seem to have any type of FAQ or knowledge database to answer these types of questions. "Luxriot is an open architecture Video Management System (VMS). Luxriot accepts MJPEG, MPEG4 and H.264 as well as HD and megapixel video streams from Network (IP) cameras, encoders and video capture boards. Luxriot is integrated with over 900 devices from all major manufacturers including Axis, Arecont Vision, Basler, SANYO, SONY, IQinVision, UDP and others. This along with Luxriot client-server architecture allows to build hybrid scalable solutions from a single NVR/DVR to the multiple server system handling thousands of cameras." (http://www.luxriot.com/eng/products/vms/)
  4. Yeah, XP Mode won't work for ya bud. Virtual PC/Machine software simply doesn't recognize PCI or PCI-E cards. About the only hardware device you can get to work besides the drives are USB devices (printers, flash drives, etc). Another thing to note is that you cannot run a x64 bit Operating System on XP Mode under Windows 7. It doesn't matter if you're running Win7 x86 (32 bit) or x64 bit, Virtual PC does not allow x64 bit Virtual Machines and that includes the built-in XP Mode. You're going to have to download VMWare or something with more functionality. Sorry for the bad news!
  5. Ok, I hear you, but I do not know how to add a dvr/capture card such as the GeoVision card you used in the software. I have looked all over the options. What am I missing and can you direct me toward being able to acquire directly from the PCI-E DVR card instead of only being able to pick up ip cameras or web servers via ip address. Thank you very much!
  6. I just installed Luxriot and am unable to acquire any video from the dvr (capture) card. It appears to be a pure NVR with no ability to acquire video from anything other than the network. So, I guess my question is... Was your idea for me to keep the other crappy software running as a web server and then to pick-up those 16 cameras 'streams' with Luxriot?
  7. Actually yes, this is a card that 'I' purchased for my client and installed for them in a new server I built. When I called Zmodo tech support complaining, they offered to give me a full refund with no issues or restocking fees. I only had to pay the return shipping. Now, this does me absolutely no good whatsoever, because my client simply cannot afford to spend even $100 more on a better card/software and I'm not going to buy one for $500-1000 and be stuck with the difference. So... the ONLY direction I am able to go is toward finding a compatible driver and improved software with this (Conexant CX25821) Chipset. I'm sure it IS possible, because I have been able to manage similar work-arounds, hack and tricks with different video, sound and other hardware cards. If anyone is able to assist me with this, as I said, I will gladly pay them for their help. Thank you very much! I also found this card under another name of VG-9116E and they both have the same ADC Chip Rate: Conxant 10bit chip. Here's the link to that card... (http://www.vangold.cn/en/Detail.asp?id=353)
  8. I am willing to send a $20 PayPal payment to whomever helps me find a viable solution here. Thanka again everyone!
  9. .......................................... I have a client whom purchased a Zmodo DVR-DC3116 capture card. They simply cannot afford a higher priced (better quality) card. The problem is that I'm having a hell of a time with the crappy software that came with this card as it crashes and has so few features. I would REALLY like to know if anyone knows or can help me discover any other DVR and/or NDVR Hybrid software I could use instead with this card. In fact, Zmodo tech support told me they know of customers with this card that successfully used different software with it, but they did not know which software package it was. So, if someone could help me figure out a work-around with another software that would work with this card and the driver I already have installed, then I would be wonderfully appreciative! Here's a link to the card...
