Bugs leaving a trail when flying buy at night with ir on.

The night-vision on the first generation Effio-P chips have always left a little to be desired. In our experience you can clean up the night time picture a little bit by using the OSD menu. The sense-up is what is most likely causing this. Also, last time I checked the boss of "Ampire" is still American.

    Empire Security Cameras

We are still waiting to hear back from Dahua. As you know they are on a 12 hour time difference. They are also attending the CPSE in Shenzhen. As soon as we have more information we will let you know. Thanks!
  3. It is probably because they are trying to protect their re-sellers, assuming you are buying sample quantities.
  4. To me it looks like an IPS camera, however the company they buy the module from sell to other companies also.

We have the HDB3200 also but I am not sure how many we have in stock. Sorry for getting no reply from eBay, we usually get between 25 and 100 messages per day. Most of them are spam so we apologize if some messages get lost among all the other nonsense. Best way is to just shoot us a PM on the forum or email us at our gmail.

The HFW3200S looks very similar to the HFW2100 design. It is definitely a little bit longer and has more IR LED's. We don't even have pricing on the HFW3200S yet, but I expect it to be in the middle between the HFW2100 and HFW3200. We will continue to carry both models as long as our installers/dealers ask for them. A lot of re-sellers have been shying away from the HFW2100 because of the costco deal but we have welcomed it. It has brought us a lot of business because most people don't want the 6mm lens. A lot of people don't want to open the case and switch out the lens (voiding the warranty).

We have the Vertical PoE NVR's and HDBW3202 in stock currently. The dome camera you are probably referring to is the HDBW3300. We have had some customers complain about IR reflect-back when the rubber ring around the lens isn't positioned correctly against the top dome cover. I think in the new models they have fixed that. As far as the HDBW3202, the build design is much better in my opinion. The rubber gasket on the lens fits snug against the top dome cover in every position, even close to 90 degrees. The best part of the HDBW3202 is the ability to zoom and focus remotely. It even has auto-focus that works extremely well!

Yes it is. It hasn't start production yet so it may still be a little bit longer. The first few pictures of the new 2MP mini-bullet (HFW3200S)? I've been wondering when that one would finally hit the market.

Prices can not be discussed on the forum, but demo shots are no problem.

Does camera mount directly to round junction box exist?

What type fo J-box is it? Do you have a link to home depot or lowes.com?

What is the best analog nightvision camera?

I just wanted to point out quickly that the 3 other sellers of this camera have copied our product information without authorization. They are not authorized re-sellers and we will not honor warranty from them.
  12. You are absolutely correct. What I meant to say was there was no streaming http port like on some type of "webcam" or other brands have. There is no "http://192.168.1.108/liveimage.jpg" There is, however, a built in webserver like many people on the forum have documented. You will be able to log into this remotely from Internet Explorer if you have the correct port forwarded through the router. Sorry for the confusion! Dahua deliberately limits access to updated firmware. I do not think they will ever have a firmware download link on their website. They require you to get the firmware from the vendor directly. While I don't agree with the policy 100%, I certainly understand where they are coming from. We have had a handful of people completely "brick" their IPC because they tried to load the wrong firmware or unplugged the camera halfway through the upgrade process. Most of the time the damage is so bad we can no longer even telnet into the Linux OS. Then you have to wait for your camera to make the round trip back to Dahua HQ to fix. All of our registered vendors and installers have direct access to our firmware. If you are an end user or home user, usually we will ask you to forward the port through your router and we will have a technician load the firmware on remotely. We try to protect most end users from themselves. I think George Carlin said it best.... Not sure what you mean by it doesn't have http port because it certainly does as you can access the camera with a web browser, and you can change the port from the standard 80. I have no problem doing this and was able to access the camera remotely (outside of my network) by forwarding the camera's http port in my router. But it appears the video stream does not work over http for this camera, or it uses a non standard method all together. By the way, I was looking on your site (Empire Security) and couldn't find where I could download updated firmware. I also couldn't find this on the Dahua website either. Any idea where I can get updated firmware?
  13. IP Cam Viewer (regular/pro) works great with all Dahua products. You can't use http port with Dahua because it does't have one. RTSP and TCP work great. Also, it will not work on Google TV. You may want to avoid the IP Cam Viewer Pro version due to this limitation.

Latest software for Dahua NVR's should be General_NVRxx-P_Eng_N_V2.610.0000.0.R.20120706. It was our mistake, we installed the wrong software, sorry!
