Hi I have a genie Dvr with 3 cams on .i got a floureon 4cam kit with Dvr but was just gonna add the 4 cams to the Dvr I have but there is no picture on back of cams it says pal/1500tvl is there a setting on Dvr I need to change thanks

If it helps when u go into menu on screen /then into network across to it says network-sub steam-email-server-other settings .the network one gives u the list of ip http port etc

Sorry the dvr is about 3yrs old .

Their is no make on dvr tryed to to add pics but it's saying file is too big sending through phone will keep trying thanks

I have a 16ch dvr with Ethernet port at back ( which I plugged into router) I wanted to watch on my iPhone 5 I found an app (supercam) all it ask for is ip and dvr user and password i then get live on my phone but it then freezes phone . I then have to delete app . This is the only app what seems to work ( tryed about 30) free apps but none seem to work or time out . I have wrote all info off dvr eg IP address /sub/gateway/sever port etc and when it asks for info on app this is what I give if anyone can help could you please give info step by step as I am very new to all this thanks

yes you did tell me what to do and yes it does work with vcr i was just answering another question thanks for that .iam still abit confused like i said new to all this but still dont see the point of the dvr ive got if you need a vcr to take off images ?? me thinking a dvr did everything maybe like someone said mine is an old one but thanks again to all.

hi dvr does not have vcr out its got audio/-1-2-3-4/ monitor main and call and external i/o on back thanks

hi people got a dvr but has no usb or rewriter how would i get the images off the hard drive on to disc or usb ??the dvr only has an exrernal i/o on the back thanks.

hi people right try to explain best i can (new to cctv) got 3 cameras /timelapes vcr/monitor everthing works fine. so now got dvr to try out instead of vcr (got a second hand off ebay till know wot im doing)the one i got does not have make or model number only says 4 channel dvr in left corner. anyway my question is after recording how would i get the images on to a disc the dvr doesnt have a dvd writer or usb only thing is an external i/o on the back of the box ?? thanks

sorted thanks horizon cheap lock used small screwdriver.

thanks for your help ,yes the lock is a small camlock (round key type) i do have some camlock keys but are to big so try find some small ones .and yes it does have a cover which is locked .

sorry again people not actually got this yet but seen a pic myselft (got this to have a go as new to all this cctv stuff) the only info ive go is cant find key to open dvd slot but if it is a hard drive can you get a key?? thanks for your help
