I'm still needing help if anyone is patient enough to kind of give me a little bit more information on what to do first, and if it is actually necessary to open up the DVR to reset the password if you have forgot the original one.

When you say a jumper, exactly what do you mean. Do you think that this jumper will be easily identified?

Does any know how to reset a password on DVR model number D6004CK. I forgot my password and I can't get the system back on the web to view.
