  1. Spotted this on eBay but can't find a brand name: http://www.ebay.com/itm/5-0-Megapixel-Network-PoE-1080P-2-8-12mm-Varifocal-Zoom-HD-IP-Security-Camera-/390932068506?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item5b055df89a Super nice specs for the price. Anyone have any feedback/reviews/opinions? Little nervous about purchasing a few in the blind. Did spot "TI Davinci DSP DM368" which I assume is the lens only. (Looking for Outdoor PoE 2.8mm cams in the $100 range. Considering this and Hikvision 3MP dome. Tired of Foscam.) Thanks.
  2. dolson11, I can set it anywhere next to the driveway. I figured a few feet off so - say 15-20ft total from center of driveway. Would like to see the whole car so - approx 20' width. These are minimums and I can adjust anything though. Just guessing here. Thanks.
  3. Hello, Which IP camera would you recommend for outdoor use on a driveway? It is important to make out license plates in day or night. I intended to use a Vivotek 7330 but tech support at Vivotek recommended IP8362 or the IP7361 instead for picking up license plates. This goes a little outside our budget. I finally found the Vivotek 8332, at the top of our budget and leaning towards it. Is there a big difference between the 8332 and the 8362 and 7361? These models get confusing. Thanks for any feedback on this application. I've read mounting the camera up with a 15-20 degree angle on the car. I thought about running powerline Ethernet out (350') but think standard Ethernet with POE will be best - going to use a switch half way. Have used WebCamXP for years but the project is so stale. Plan to try Blue Iris. Thanks in advance!
