Need help setting up an onboard camera....

Thank you all for the replies. I really apreciate it. As far as the recording equipment goes i am set in that departmen. Heres a better description of what i want: I wand a device, that would take multiple sensor positions and EMBED THEM LIVE INTO A VIDEO FEED. SO the outcome would be like this: (taken from MotoGP racing site) http://www.rhrides.com/uploads/Untitled.WMV As you can see in the video, the throttle position, speed, gear position, and braking force are all EMBEDED into the video automatically. Now what i'm asking for is a simple plug and play device that can show these values on the screen. It doesn't have to be as fancy as the above video. It just has to show the numbers. Sorta like how camcorders can show the time, or display a message on the screen. I do NOT want to get a data logger, then capture the sensor inputs and later embed it manually. that would be too difficult and syncronization would be almost imposible. If you know any forums/ books or guys who can help me out i'd apreciate it VERY MUCH. SORRY FOR THE LONG POST.
  3. Hi, First off, thanks for making this great forum. Now I am trying to setup an onboard camera system on my racebike. for this i need the following: 1. A good but cheap bullet cam. 2. a flash memory based PVR (pocket video reccorder) 3. Analog capture device with integration capability. (sorry i don't even know what its called) for # 3, i want a product that has a line in for the camera and a line out which will embed the speed, throttle position and brake force of my bike right into the picture. Any recomendations? sorry about the spelling i'm really sleepy Thanks, Reza
