Can anyone help me out please?hi there can you pm me details of your install requirements, dont just go with a pre boxed kit because the cameras will be cheaper general standard units, if you tell me by pm what you require to see i can give you some guidance on which cameras would be better suited.
-
try changing the cameras and see if that sorts the problem out otherwise it could be a cable fault.
-
No I did call them and they said they can't tell me witch wires go where that I would have to buy a new camerawhich model camera is it
-
your voltage is too low possibly because the resistance on cable run for dc power is too long or cable to small therefore resistance is dropping voltage once the additinsl night ir lights power pulls more current, can you mount the psu nearer the camera and feed from there.

SirsI have a DVR connected to wifi router.
My DVR is KCN H.264
I am very new to cctv and have got no idea ..Please help me
I also have downloaded the app "MEye" in my samsung android.
When i open my app in mobile t requires
1.Device name........what s device name and where can i find it The name of the dvr youve saved in dvr ie could be home cctv etc
2.Address.......what is address here..where to find ad how to find ...procedure its the ip address of dvr if internally ie 192.168.1.19 etc or external ip if using outside the property ie isp ip address ie 13.28.14.11 etc
3.mobile port......what is mobile port and where to find and write..procedure this is the port forwarding port youve setup in dvr and router ie 1234 etc
4.username......what to write here in the dvr menu there is a section where you set up users of the dvr and the password used to log in and set levels of access for example admin is top dog level
5.password.....what to write here when dvr is sent from supplier to you the admin account will be password blank but you can change this in the setup menu of dvr to a password of your choice.
6.maxchannel...?? depends what dvr youve purchased if its 4 chanel then put 4 if 8 channel put 8 and 16 channel put 16 it allows the amount of screens setup for the mobile app to link with the amount of channels on the dvr.
hope this helps

Thanks for your reply regarding the dvr unit number. I found the explanation in the setup manual. After posting the initial message I remembered that the DM DS2A I was connecting to the KBS3 remote keyboard was in 'upgrade limbo'. A couple weeks ago I made it part of the way through the upgrade process and ran into a problem ... and, additionally, I still need an upgrade unlock code from Dedicated Micros. So .... for the time being ... my DS2A is "halted in bootloader" mode until I get the software upgrade finished. I'm guessing that the keyboard will not be recognized by this dvr until the dvr boots up successfully.that is correct the dm ds2 must have booted fully to recognise the keyboard, if its halted then it will not recognise the dvr keyboard at all.

Does anyone know of floureon DVrs and how they are in the app use

I have a DM BX2P DVR and a DM DS2A DVR. I also have two DM/KBS3 remote keyboards. Each keyboard works fine with my BX2P but my DS2A will not find the KBS3 keyboard. I plug the keyboard into the 485 port on the back of the DS2A and then into the keyboard and all the lights start flashing and the lcd screen displays what appears to be a firmware version number but then the lcd screen goes blank. I press a key on the keyboard and the lcd screen says " Keyboard not found " and I get a warning or error beep. At this point ... and I'm guessing here ... my DS2A will only work with the DM/KBS3A keyboard. Your thoughts?you need to press unit number on keyboard and the unit number that the dm is programmed to ie if the ds2a is unit 3 then press unit and number 3 on keyboard etc.
