Some ISP's will not let you access your external IP from within the network.
Just the way it works.

Maybe you are forwarding the ports to the router instead of the DVR
-
use different ports and you can use two on one router

I hate those Netopia routers. But anyways if your gonna assign port 80 to your dvr you must change the internal server port to something else like 8080

hmmm a collectors item

Maybe your ISP is blocking port 80. Try using a different port to see if it will work

Golden State is too a fine of Wire Guys LOL

DVR should have a main bnc out. Run a coax line to your tv and convert the coax to a RCA composite and plug into yellow composite plug on back of the tv.
-
Yes that is a variation of the NextChip DSP
-
Try using the BNC composite out to your tv if you want to see if your DVR is working.

Your monitor might not be able to handle the low resolution that DVR outputs. Most cheap DVRs only output 640x480 or lower. So you need a monitor that can handle that low of a resolution.

Has anyone tried SecuGuard the basic and pro versions? If so what are your thoughts on it? Ease of use? functionality?

would love to see few seconds HD samples clips
Thx
I have a Flip Mino HD and i love it. Mostly for videotaping my baby girl. Here is a sample. The quality is very good for such a low cost digital camcorder.

Change your resolution to fix it

I was wondering if a 1.3 Megapixel is considered HD? I know 1.3 produces SXGA at 1280x1024. 720P is 1280 x 720.

Cameras will only pull what is needed from the Amps. If camera uses 350mA, than will only pull that from a 4 amp power supply. It will only pull more amps if the voltage drops. Ohms Law
