    cctv remote viewing help

Hey guys. I'm having similar setting up problems myself and I wonder would any of you be able to help me. I have an eircom router and a dvr that I'm looking to connect online so I can remotely access the cameras. As a computer enthusiast but definitely not an IT specialist I'm finding it tricky to get my recently self installed cctv system online. I have been able to access my system on my iphone alright using the wifi within the house but I'm cheating there as it's within the same network. So here is the info I can give you on my setup. Modem IP Address: 192.168.1.254 Modem Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0 DHCP Range: 192.168.1.1 - 200 When I look on my DVR Network setup I have the following information. (It seems to have detected this all by itself after I clicked Dynamic IP, Select "IP Detect" and then I know to switch it back to Static IP) IP Address 192.168.1.2 Subnet Mask 255.255.255.0 Gateway 192.168.1.254 DNS Server 1 192.168.1.254 DNS Sever 2 159.134.0.1 TCP/IP/Mobile Port 9010 Web Port 80 http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/571/dvrb.jpg/ I rang eircom and asked for a Static IP address (50 euro btw). They emailed me back with an IP and a different Subnet Mask (not sure why) Static IP: 86.43.67.0 Subnet Mask : 255.255.255.255 Here is a screen shot of the Eircom Router Screen. *Note the new WAN IP address has been detected automatically by the router when I restarted it* I'm aware of Port Forwarding but not sure how to set that up too. At the moment this is all that is there...
