Hi, I'm building a home surveillance system, I will connect 8 cameras with a cat-5 cable to a PC-DVR, I want to protect all the system from lightning, the cameras and the DVR, so I will have to buy the cat-5 video surge protection RJ45, like this here: http://www.camsecure.co.uk/SurgeFilter.html I need one surge protection per camera between camera output and one connected to the DVR, but if it has an RJ45 port can I use, at the end of the cable between the DVR, one surge protection? Thank you.
