one of our customer require 16 PTZ Cameras to be connected with the Single DVR having SINGLE RS 422/485 Serial Connection. Any one with the diagram showing the connections etc DVR is CAMTRON and the Camera is also CAMTRON Korea. Analog all items.

yup, but i am looking for some documents which mention the integration of both the Brands. I have heard that long time back Verint and PELCO used to worktogether but in recent years they split up. Also, I am looing for work oppertunaties in security system integration , support etc

PELCO PTZ Cameras would be the best choice it can be minimum of 18 X . WHY PELCO ? You can run the control of the PTZ through the CAXITRON Protocol which would remove the need to lay a DATA Cabe in such distances. Each camera point would have : Camera with Houing incase of Fix Cameras . Mount Power Adapter. The locally powered cameras are recommended as the Central Power to such disctances would add the cost of wiring and other technical details.(power loss etc) Each Camera site with 24 VAC Adapter powered by the Locally mounted small UPS of 500 VA would be sufficient. Yup, For information in Pakistan the major market share of SAMSUNG then PELCO and then in parallel these brands Panasonic,Honeywell,Sanyo AXIS etc. SAMSUNG being the cheaper version is prefered in Banks branhces etc. but PELCO is installed on strategic important locations like airports, Gas FIeld with Wireless from VERINT. we are presently the System integrator for PELCO and VERINT , CAMTRON in Pakistan. The reseller in Pakistan for SAMSUNG have created some commercial competetion but the technical expertise for CCTV is not that much as the same few particular models are proposed to each customer regardless to the requirement etc. That is what we are depending on , the system integration and the Technical Support Services. One major difference is the Prices of PELCO in Pakistan for customer . These days looking at the USD exchange rate & the Tax structure the end user prices are getting very high . Some suggestion in that direction is also anticipated for example some parallel market where the brands are available hence saving some OverHeads in importing.

HI we are in process of integration of a large nationwide CCTV network. many of our customer sites are connected using teh satellite links from the remote locations. I am looking for some suggestions on the Sattlite bandwith requirements, DVR setting and any other information which can be helpfull in designing the solutions. The DVR can be from GE or Pelco.
