  1. I beileive Korean would be better but better than that is made in the USA. So far Pelco is really the only company that makes there products in the USA for CCTV.
  2. And now you just added another reason I will not sell Pelco. Distributors selling direct and your trying to promote it Just a bummer your missing out!!! American Dynamics are just out for you money same with other people. Don't go cheap!!

So would it be good to get the 19.? watt.
  6. This isn't even kind of true. Over the past 3 years Pelco has seen a price reduction of up to 70% on some of its equipment. It is priced 5% lower than the 3 "Top Selling" IP cameras on the market. Problem is people never want to compare apples to apples with Pelco, its always someones entry level $500 DVR vs Endura. Digital Sentry = Free 8 cameras + Free with current promotion. Which software vendor is also free? Analog Line - Starts off at $80 dealer, but no one pays dealer, at minimum you should be 10-15% off of dealer. IP Line, Standard Deff - $400, Megapixil - $540, at dealer once again. 100 camera system, 64 Analog, 33 IP 1.3MP, 18TB, Unlimited Clients, NO recurring fee = About 31K DEALER. And if you are the partner first program not only do you get your standard discount but you can register the project for another 4% off. Now I cant argue that it is the cheapest brand, but as far it is one of the most supportive, easiest technical support, fastest shipping, easiest returns, and some really great promotions that make the equipment even less expensive. If you havent looked at Pelco in a while, I suggest you check it out. Amen. +1 I wish Pelco would replace American Dynamics one of the reasons is I can't stand Tyco.
  7. lolwut problem with pelco is, you pay twice what the camera is actually worth. The thing is with Pelco youre paying for a high quality system compared to some other brands that dealers sell to there customers. Pelco is also made in the USA compared to other brands. There is no such thing as cheep when you are dealing with surveillance. Don't go cheap because in the long run you will be paying tons in replacements. Yes it can be expensive but you get what you pay for. Go with Pelco!!
  8. Go with Pelco!! Both there analog and IP solutions have amazing detail!! Some of the best cameras money can buy.

    Spectra IV Pan

I have a Sepectra IV 35X zoom and it won't pan. It'll pan when it starts up but then says configuration failed. It will tilt and zoom but no pan. If you take out the dome drive for an hour or two it'll pan and everything except for the pan and tilt degree line is all combined numbers like 235467 instead of XXX / XXX. Has anybody had this problem before??

    Spectra IV Pan

I use a DVR5100 with Coaxitron Control. No Pelco D or P. I called Pelco and they cant help me either. Time for repair'
  12. I am wanting to control a PTZ camera that uses RS-485 with a Pelco DVR either if it's DX8000 or a DVR5100. I know they both put out RS-422 but I need to know if I can control RS-485.
  13. I was recently told that the DVR5100 can not support megapixel IP cameras. You can only use Pelco Non-megapixel cameras. I don't know if this is true or not. Thats why I need YOUR help!! I was also told you can not use Axis IP cams. This is a really big bummer to me.
