  1. Here is what I did to make Lorex nvr form Costco with 4 cameras to work with another 4 Swann cameras. My setup is as follows: Lorex NVR with 4 Lorex cameras attached to it. Another 4 cameras are on separate POE switch. So to make them show in the NVR and record first I changed the password to 000000. Then set the cameras with ip addresses from my network. At the end just added the cameras manually in Device Parameters menu to the NVR. Now they are showing and recording fine.
  2. Fixed now. Need to change the Swann cameras password to 000000 and to connect 1 of the camera ports to the router. Now Lorex NVR recognize all cameras like Lorex.
  3. Hi, I Need help with Lorex LNR280 from Costco and adding Swann cameras to it. I bought the Lorex package from Costco and another 4 Swann cameras. The Swann cameras are attached to my network with POE switch the problem is that I can`t make NVR to record them. If Swann cameras are attached to the NVR POE everything is fine but if they are on the switch they are not recording and I`m not able to see them with remote access application. Already tried different setting nothing changes. Is there any solution for this situation? Thanks!
  4. Thanks! Now I`m thinking which model DVR to buy same or to try something other And will try it.
  5. Hi, In the company I work will need to install second 8 ch DVR device in another separate building. Now we have one DVR and I`m redirecting it`s IP address to be seen outside of the network. What I need to do to be able to remote view both devices since the router allows me to expose only one IP address? Thanks!

Help with 8 CH DVR and cameras

My budget is up to $2000 including DVR, cables, 4 outdoor cameras and 4 indoor cameras. 2 of the out door cameras need to HAVE IR led distance of 200 feet. Other 2 cameras need about 100 ft. The 4 indoor cameras need also 100 ft night vision. The longest distance from camera to DVR is 150 feet. I will need about 1000 ft cable. So I need suggestions about DVR, DVR HDD, cameras and anything else that I`m missing:) This seller http://www.cctvsecuritypros.com is offering wide range of equipment and good warranty and service policy what you think about their prices? If you can recommend any other US seller please share.
