  1. THANX. I got it. Now I am viewing on windows 7.

Here it is what I did for all my friends facing similar problem.

Tools --> internet option --> Security -->Trusted Sites --> Click --> All zones to default level -->.

close the dialogue box, open the browser, type the IP (internet explorer). Allow to install Active-X and plug-ins when popup bar appears. Will take few seconds. VIDEO IS THERE.

    Thanks again for reminding me.

  2. Sorry Guys for a very late reply, as I was busy in the same project.I was asked to do as many visits and develop a system. Now the actual position is, there are 43 cameras to be installed, out of which 23 are speed domes of various zooms, 10 static and 10 panning.

The length is less than 3KM, It is difficult to put a line amp in between cables, is RG11 suitable for video and cat 6 as ptz controller cable.

  3. Hi every one,

I have a project where almost 18 cameras are to be installed .9 of them are speed domes and rest are static, for each camera 3to 4 kilometers of cable will be recquired (from camera to Dvr). It is not possible to put any line amplifier in between the cables to boost the signals.

Which cables will be suitable for such lengths, (video cable, cable for PTZ keyboard cotroller, and power cable 12v dc.)Suggestions will be highly appreciated.

  4. You must have few things in mind when you talk about IR camera,(1) the covering angle of IR lights is never the same as that of lense,it mostly covers the centre part of the screen, the left out area will be snowy or grainy. (2) No. of IR lights and how much powerful they are.(3) IR cameras are not EX-VIEW cameras.

If you stood in front of the camera to adjust it, definately the picture will be clear.

  5. Once such thing happened in one of my installation, I checked each and every thing, and found them perfect, then I removed the BNC connector of that perticular camera from the DVR end and pluged in after a few seconds, while the supply of the camera was on, the picture was back to normal again.

    Try this !!

  6. Hi Karen,

I have gone through the whole story, the best way to put a joint due to any reason , is to splice the cables , twist the centre conductors and the braid (seperately), and solder them. After that insulate them properly,to protect the connections from moisture. I don't how many times I have done so ,on very long lengths as well. This thing is all right for CCTV video signals, and not with the RF signals because on each joint you loose 3dB.

  7. Thanks for the information, if the no. of pixles are 410k or 470k, will it be good enough. Actually the demand of my customer is that the camera should be color, of 500 tvl , WDR, day and night and with image masking feature. is there any manufacturer in Tiwan or in Korea kindly recomend.

    Thanks,

  8. Actually the main problem is with the sun light, the place where the system will be installed is open with no shade , its in open sky facing East and West.

The sun light will hit directly to lense for some time every day , in such a condition, how long the CCD will last.

  9. Hello Fllows,

I want to install under vehical inspection system. If i use IR cameras will they last as much as they do in normal position.

As this unit will be installed underground with no shade above and the lense will be exposed to direct sunlight.

Any other camera for this requirement please advice.

    Thanks.
