  1. Im looking for nice design remote control which can reach 80 meter in real life. Previously i had purchase "NICE" brand which small and elegance. The specification stated 200 meter range, when tested line-of-sight, 60 meter also cannot reach.

Im looking at 2 button remote control. The use is for barrier gate, the customer want the barrier gate open by push button. please do let me know if you know any remote control can reach 80 meter.

  2. Recently have a project which require a system be able to count how many person on a motorbike.

The motorbike will stop at a dedicated lane, the lane only allow 1 motorbike at the same time and suppose only 1 person per motorbike. If the motor bike have 2 person, the system must be able to detect and trigger the command center.

is there such a system? it can be detect by camera, infrared, photobeam, ultrasonic sensor and etc.

I know for this solution no 100% accuracy. it doesn't matter as long as it can reach 60-70% accuracy.

please share with me how can i design this type of system

    Check Avigilon cameras analytics

I have check on most analytic camera which they only able to count on how many motorbike in and out. It cannot count on how many person on the bike.

  4. I think "high price" is a hallmark of "western" brand labels... and with a few exceptions, you're probably paying more just for the name with the likes of Pelco, Bosch, Honeywell, Panasonic, etc. If you need a lower entry point, look at CNB, KT&C, Dahua, etc.

personally i dont like CNB product, sometime i still use KTNC product. dahua haven try before.

any good western brand where the price is lower compare to common branded brand.

  5. i had never tried SONY megapixel. any comment on it? im planing to propose 25 unit sony HD camera with NVR (customer dont prefer using software).

Is sony good enough to support 25 units HD camera? if i plan to use third party nvr, what brand/modal actually can do a good work to support 25 unit sony HD cam with also cost is more efficient.

  6. tks for the info..

i really got no idea how the sub-panel work. my job is to install everything and leave the cable at the fire alarm panel and the fire contractor will do the connection to the fire panel.

due to this is a multi-floor building and the main panel is very very far..... every 3 floor of the building consist of a sub-panel. so that "i think" the sub-panel should have the trigger feature output when fire happen and it will send the signal to my controller/relay. anyone know is there any aux output in fire alarm sub-panel?

  7. it is common when the fire alarm trigger and it will send the signal to the door access controller then the lock will be release. here is my question:

    1. the door doesnt require any reader for in and out. it only has EM lock to lock the door. but when fire alarm trigger and the lock must be release. i was thinking not to use the door access controller. any other device for replacement to the controller?

    2. the building has main fire alarm panel console at the control room and also have sub panel at the diff floor. can i link the lock release to the sub panel?? or i must connect direct to the main panel?

    thx alot

  8. correct me if im wrong

you need to identified the following informaiton:

    1) how many camera to be install?

    2) you require to do calculation on the size transfer rate as how many fps each camera you require and how much is each frame size.

    3) how are you going to supply power to the camera? by solar?

    4) is there any fiber optic facilities or telephone facility along the highway.

    solution

    1) IP wireless 2.4Ghz based or more

    2) Long range Radiowave transmitter and Receiver.

    3) due to the distance are 60km, you are require to do a calculation on how many repeater you need to install in order for you to achieve the target distance.

    4) bandwidth management at server site to assure all bandwidth smooth.

    5) Power source: Solar based for camera and repeater.

of course for highway project will involve high cost setup. my personal advice GPRS doesnt work the wireless cctv and produce a very bad effect.

  9. recently i have a car park access job where i crack my head still cant find any solution.... please recommend the suitable product and solution..... thousand thank in advance...bro

    1. Q: Can you brief me the environment of the car park?

A: Is a large car park with few floor. The place is full of mist. Currently using swap card reader and customer plan to stick back to swap card reader. We only provide the system include swap card reader, controller, communicator and other exclude the management software because they had their customize software to read our signal input.

    2. Q: What type of signal input should giving to the management software?

A: The signal must be back to the system in RS-232 format

    3. Q: What is the card format?

    A: Mag stripe format

    4. Q: Is it have to be swap card? Can i recommend for proximity or other?

A: Yes, it must be swap card.

    5. Q: What is the info you require us to read from the card? Example: card serial no.

A: we need the full card no from track 2 of Mag Stripe

    6. Q: Every card have a serial no, your software require for how many digit from the serial? 6 or 10 digits?

A: All the string value from track 2 Mag Stripe. This normally consist of 31 characters excluding the control characters from reader (i.e. ; and ?). To be safe, I would advise to put in few more characters as buffer and trim the string before sending it to us.

    7. Q: Oftenly magnetic strip consist of 3 different track to store different data. May I know your system require the reader to read at which track?

    A: From track 2

8: Q: You did mention you environment is full of mist, should i propose with weather proof swap card reader?

A: Yes, strongly recommend to proposed a weather proof swap card reader.

    9. Q: What is the maximum distance from reader to the car park system?

A: We have few access entrance, the maximum distance is about 800 meter but the minimum distance is 200 meter.

    10. Q: You did mention on you have your own customize car park management software, can i propose my software?

A: No, you are not allow to proposed your management software. You will only allow to propose the swap card reader and the solution to run the job. We will customize our software to encode and store the data to our system.

well....this is the informaiton where i can provide to you.... if you know about this then please let me know how to do it... i don want to lose more hair.....heheh....

  10. Hi guy, I think we usually get confuse on what kind of system transmission need to propose like wired or wireless. Everything there must be a pros and cons. Why not we really get into details on the advantages and disadvantages of wireless.

    wireless

    Advantages:

    - convinient to install in those location wiring is difficult

    - camera & system can be easily relocate

    - camera can be hidden and portable

    Disadvantages

    - Video stream may be disturb from moving object or other strong frequencies.

    - video and audio transmission is limited.

Im thinking to go in more details like security and etc. expample-is wireless data can be steal? is it possible for outsider to clone the freuency? and so on. what else about wireless??
