  1. Problem solved. Had to hold reset button before powering up camera. DUH! Thanks to everyone who took a look!
  2. I just purchased a FD8361 Vivotek camera in excellent condition. After running the installation CD I was able to discover camera and I attempted to log in via the install program. I could not find password information so I attempted to login as root with a password of the MAC address of the camera. I use capitalization for the alphabetic characters as directed. Still no access. So I attempted to reset camera to factory default via reset button. The red light blinked then stayed on. Unplugged camera from power and then plugged in red light still on and will not go out. Pressing reset button does nothing now. Install program does not find camera. ARP cache does not show MAC address for camera. I'm guessing the camera is stuck in reset mode. Is it possible that reset button is stuck or could it be NVRAM issue? Any suggestions? Thank you.
