    Asenware DVR and camera woes

Good Morning. Thanks very much for your posts. I have now tried factory reset on camera and then on the DVR, reset my data and still no luck, just the orange screen. While I was looking around through the OSM I accidentally did something that brought up another menu titled SETUP MENU 1. I was not able to control the menu and eventually cancelled out of it and have not been able to find how I got into it in the first place. Any ideas on how to access the setup menus and once I am in how to navigate through it? Once again I thank you for taking the time to try and help me out Mike Higgins

    Asenware DVR and camera woes

Thank you very much for your reply. I have tried it and SUCCESS, I now have the OSD. I have tried every setting in the menu and nothing changes the screen which is an orange color with no picture. Any thoughts on that? Sorry for the long delay in getting back, medical stuff. Thanks again Mike
  3. I have recently purchased an Asenware AW-8116DN DVR and a camera that I believe is made by the same company. There is no information on the camera to tell for sure. I connected the camera to the DVR, set it up, have PTZ control, but the video presented by the DVR is a yellowish orange screen. When the camera initializes, I see the test data on the OSD. I have not been able to access the OSD menu and cannot see video. The camera is very similar to the Asenware ASB-MS661, without the vandal proofing. I have not been able to find a manual or setup guide for either on the web. I have found some that are close but with differences significant enough to make them of little value. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks Mike Higgins
