  1. Hey. Good info, however, i'd recommend to Also put explanation for lens, IR, etc. instead of links to their manufacturers.

    Time for NVR?

Thanks a lot! One more question, are there IP POE AUDIO MICS available? Pretty much instead of camera to have just mic going to NVR through POE, thanks

    Time for NVR?

Thanks. I've been looking for some time now for IP POE cameras with mic built in, but can't find any. Can you inform me of some? Also, does ip camera with mic built in need just one POE?

    Time for NVR?

I read bunch of comments on this forum regarding nvr vs dvr But my question is, since I am looking at getting all my cameras to be IP, should I just get NVR instead of Hybrid? Also, I noticed that all Dahua NVR (or most of them) do not have any audio recording, anything I can do with that? Currently I got my eye on this one http://www.securitycameraking.com/8ch-tiny-network-video-recorder-59446-prd1.html I noticed that it's smaller and probably uses less power than most other recorders. It's also easier to hide from the thiefs. The only concern I have is no audio. I could always find some other audio recorder and then put audio and video together through video software, but I would prefer audio and video to go together right away.

    Dash Cams? Suggestions

Hey. I reviewed couple before. Here is first dash cam I ever had, too expensive and quality not that good http://bestpcreviews.com/cameras/182-kci-sbx-3100-dash-camera-review.html This one I use now, I think it's perfect http://bestpcreviews.com/cameras/217-itronics-itb-100hd-dash-camera-review.html Nowadays most of cams you can get are available on ebay from other countries

    Need couple advices

Hey, I had couple questions. First of all I noticed that you guys always recommend Dahua (or whatever the brand is) to everyone. I got my eye on Defender brand, which I've seen selling for under $400 with 8 cameras. So why is Dahua better? Another thing I wanted to ask you, whats the difference between analog and IP camera? Only quality? is IP camera always 720p? Do you think 600 would be good quality? I was looking into spending under $500 for a system with 8 cameras. What do you guys think of this one? http://www.homedepot.com/h_d1/N-5yc1v/R-203267390/h_d2/ProductDisplay?catalogId=10053&langId=-1&keyword=defender&storeId=10051 Pros and Cons would be appreciated. Thanks
