I have a few questions about the lorex system before actually ordering a few kits. Does the Swann NVR record the 3mp cameras at 3mp? How many channels will the NVR record at 3mp at 30fps?

i like your lockbox, where'd you get it? I also came up with the same idea you did for mounting the camera to the metal coverplate of a weatherproof box, I used a 4"x4" box and cover.

how do i verify the alternate stream is being recorded? I have all cameras connected thru the dvrs poe ports.

I am using the admin account to remote view live on a iphone client, however it says connection failed when I try playback. Any ideas? is there a different port being utilized for playback?

I bought a qc804 nvr package from costco. I got the camera setup and I'm able to remote view with the iphone client. However I am unable to do playback with the iphone client. Does anyone know how to configure that ??

Just ordered one, waiting for it to arrive within a week hopefully. Does anyone know of a good poe switch I can get to power this up and how to access the web interface? I have been reading on camera critic's website that these nvr's sata bus can take 2 hd's? anyone tried that or know if the costco packaged nvr will support a 2nd hd in the nvr?
