    Sorry, ive never used this before and have only just got the cameras!!! i have 8 Channel KGuard SHA108.V2 DVR with 4 cameras. http://www.maplin.co.uk/1tb-8-channel-h.264-network-dvr-with-4x-ccd-cameras-and-smart-phone-access-593863 that is a link to the one's i purchased.
