  1. Hi I have a couple of videos that I would like to watch. Only problem is that it is in .mpg format but cannot be opened, I have tried to open these video files using what feels like hundreds of different codecs and players. After strugeling for more than a day I came to the conclusion the video files are corrupt and cannot be played. With this in mind I opened them up in media info and saw tha they are not .mpg encoded but .n264 encoded. Any advice on a program/codec/player that would allow me to open these video files. Even a viewer for a proprietary format. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    .gbf Files?

I am a student at a digital forensics company in South-Africa and I have recently recieved a case where it is nesecary for me to open video files with the extension ".gbf" I do not know what make the DVR is and I do not know anything about the system that was used. All I know is that a company called GEUTERBRUCK is linked with the .gbf file type... or aleast I hope I was correct about that. But all I need is to be able to view the video footage and convert it if possible so that it could be viewed on a standard windows 7 installation. Anyway, any help would be appreciated because this case has to be put to bed as soon as possble.
