    Dahua DVR No-ip problem

Thanks for the advice fellas, I actually fixed it the next day at the site and forgot you report back to you guys. Problem was the customer had the no-ip host name set to round robin, which I discovered after actually going into the host name's settings. He was attempting to set up a port redirect, because he convinced himself it was needed because we were using port 88 as the http port. I just ended up making a new host name so the default settings were there and it works great now.

    Dahua DVR No-ip problem

Unfortunately, I'm not at the site of the DVR now, and the ip address has change, as I can't connect to webservice. I'll be able to get that when I get back to the site.
  3. I have a dahua DVR and I'm trying to connect to remotely. I had it working fine, but recently when my ip address changes the DVR will not update the no-ip hostname's ip address. The strangest thing about this is that it will update the ip address when I reboot the DVR (I guess rebooting forces the dvr to send the update to no-ip?), so I know that my information is put in correctly and the DVR is capable of updating no-ip, it just won't do it on its own. Has anyone on here experienced this before, or have any idea on what could be causing this?
