    NOT a nice experience

I had the same problem with nicknames as you did Numb-nuts, however I was not as creative. Both your nickname and avatar are original and unforgettable! " title="Applause" /> ~Mike
  2. Great info! I always opt for higher resolution and lower frame rate. ~Mike
  3. The only port I changed is the 'HTTP Port' assigned on the Port Mapping screen. I left all the other ports default. ~Mike
  4. Hi Greg, I have two ACTi cameras and several other brands so I use Blue Iris for motion detection and recording. ~Mike
  5. I am using LiveCams with my ACTi E22. I set stream 2 to MJPEG and set LiveCams Profile to (URL) MJPEG. Enter in the URL field: http://IPAddress:Port/cgi-bin/encoder?USER=Admin&PWD=123456&CHANNEL=2&GET_STREAM The Port used above is the HTTP Port assigned on the Port Mapping screen in your ACTi Web Configurator. Leave the Username and Password fields in LiveCams blank. ~Mike
  6. There are several listed under the heading "iPhone Viewing Apps:" here. viewtopic.php?f=19&t=35868 I use Live Cams Pro and am very happy with it. I do not have a 5 MP cam yet but it works fine with my Axis P1344 and M1114 cams. ~Mike
  7. Would changing to corridor format solve your problem?http://www.axis.com/products/video/about_networkvideo/corridor_format.htm ~Mike

  9. I am very happy with Live Cams Pro and suggest adding it to the iPhone Viewing Apps list.

    Multiple Brand Client Software

Bob, The solution above was recommended because it may work for you. It was not posted here as spam as you may think. You may have thought Blue Iris was a mobile solution however it is actually PC software. The iOS and android apps are additions. Take a look at these pages and if it does not look interesting to you then I apologize for wasting your time. http://blueirissoftware.com/6.html http://blueirissoftware.com/7.html ~Mike

    F to BNC ?

I would recommend compression connectors although they are more expensive and need a tool to install. There are all types of compression connectors available for a variety of cables. Here is a video installing BNC on RG-6. BNC Compression RG-6 Connector Termination.mpg

    Axis poe ?

Accessories included are listed on the datasheet for each camera series. http://www.axis.com/products/video/camera/ They do not include a midspan, or poe injector, with the camera. That must be purchased separately. ~Mike
  14. If you mean running 220VAC and twisted pair in the same conduit/pathway then you should use separate distribution pathways otherwise you are asking for trouble.

    Axis and iPhone

I recommend Live Cams Pro from Eggman Technologies. I have an Axis P1344 and there is a menu popup to activate/deactivate the output port. I have not tried it though. You can also try emailing the developer if you have questions. ~Mike
