Need Help with q-see 600TVL cam acting up

I unplugged the power supply for 10 counts and plugged it back in. I've had some cameras with bad IR sensors in which the reset fixed the problem. Could it possibly be related to lack of enough power to the camera??
  2. Hi guys, I installed a system that a client purchased and a few of the cameras are acting up. The installation consists of a 32 channel Q-See dvr with 24 cameras most of them are 600tvl bullet cameras and three are cheapy dome ptz installed at a warehouse. I used honeywell siamese cable for most runs and used the power supplies and splitters that came with the system because the customer wanted to use them. The issue is with some of the bullet cameras going in and out of IR mode and one is stuck in IR mode. There's plenty of light and the cameras are 25ft up on beams. I've reset the DVR and reset the cameras but no luck..... Anyone have experience with this? Any advise would be great. I really don't want to have to rent a lift just to change out the cameras unless it's a bad camera that the manufacturer can warranty.

    New guy from west coast

Hi all, I am a seven year Dish installer learning cctv installs. Would love to take a formal course on closed circuit tv installs but don't have the time or money and hey I could learn just as much on these boards so.. I also help a buddy with his structured cabling jobs here in the evergreen state. Glad to meet you all.
