Swann Pro 760 Very Poor Image Quality

You could always try a ground loop isolator?

    700TVL Dome cameras

Your DVR may only record at a lower TVL anyway. Most suppliers sell 700TVL cameras and the picture is great when connected to a monitor like you said, but if the DVR can only record at 540TVL then your quality is getting affected. Also, like the post above mine said, it could be your streaming capabilities that are causing the drop in picture quality.

Thinking of buying a swann cctv package. Any good?

I sell to a lot of installers on a daily basis and it's rare I come across one who can fully understand what a networkable CCTV system consists of. However I do understand that finding a decent and reliable system is a challenge, especially since you know that if you get quotes from installers that they may or may not be ripping you off price-wise. I would stay away from Swann, like a post said above mine - good marketing doesn't cover up the shortcomings of products. HD-SDI is a good route to go down for HD images, but your price will be higher than standard analogue systems. I could quite happily give you contacts but I won't publish them on the forum. soundless
  6. Hello there, I'm not familiar with the Defender DVR, however on the DVRs I use, when you set up a new user you can set a list of parameters for them, and one of them is how many cameras they can view. I would imagine this isn't DVR-specific and is a common feature across a whole range. soundless

    CoVi Technology EVQ-1000 Cameras

Good morning all, This is my first post on the forum after doing some research through the threads here. I noticed a couple of years ago that there were active threads for the CoVi Technology EVQ-1000 cameras and nothing has been posted since. I understand that they are no longer available and difficult to get hold of. My local wholesaler has them in stock and is letting them go at really good prices - I got some myself. Please tell me if I am positing in the correct location or not but if people are interested I can certainly let them know where to get them. I won't post the link as I'm not sure if this breaches forum rules or not. Let me know, soundless
