  1. When I power cycle all the camera does is run through a about a minute long tour.
  2. Does anyone know where I can get a manual or instructions on this model camera ? I am trying to find our what settings it was left with, or if it can be reset to default... and what the default settings are, etc. Any info would be much appreciated. http://www.slapshop.com/B000VZOAAK/PTZ_Day_and_Night_Color_Dome_Camera_with_SONY_super_HAD_technology__22X_ZOOM_Camera___Wall_Mount_bracket_and_Weather_Proof_IP66.html
  3. I've tried both. Do I need to change my camera ID ? What about termination and bias ? Is there some sort of third party program I could use to interrogate the camera settings ?
  4. I powered down, no settings popping up on screen when I power the camera up. It just runs though a generic tour and then go back to a fixed position.
  5. I tried swapping them just now, no luck. Do I need to power cycle the camera or encoder after a change like this ?
  6. I have a generic Analog PTZ camera that operates under Pelco D (link to camera: http://www.slapshop.com/B000VZOAAK/PTZ_Day_and_Night_Color_Dome_Camera_with_SONY_super_HAD_technology__22X_ZOOM_Camera___Wall_Mount_bracket_and_Weather_Proof_IP66.html ) it is connected to an Axis M7001 encoder with a clean picture coming in. I cannot for the life of me get the PTZ function to work. Perhaps this model is just not supported. Is there any software out there I can use for free to test my RS485 connection to the camera ? I would like to get the Main Menu on the camera open so I can see what the settings are. I have no manual for this camera and I do not know the default baud or anything besides what is on the housing 'PELCO D' and 'Device ID 1'. There is a cable on the camera that is labeled RS485 and it denotes that orange is + and yellow is -, I have those tied back to the M7001 ports 3 and 4. I have the Pelco driver installed on the M7001, set to generic, and I have tried multiple baud rates with no luck. Any help would be much appreciated.
