  1. I assume that you asked about the XProtect. When you install the software, the Mobile Service should be installed automatically. Check the Services - make sure they all set to Automatic: Then, Hope these help.
  2. I have two E72s. One was shipped with V6.03.15 on July, then I upgraded to V6.03.17. The second one was shipped with V6.04.15 on Aug (with hexagon screws). So far, two cameras run with different version, and I have not had any issue. But I do feel the V6.03.17 has better image. My E53 is also running fine V6.03.17. Just test only one out first, then...
  3. I am as new as you are, but I just want to share my own experience with you. I think that you may have a problem with the storage and schedule settings. 1. Download "NVR3_Administrator_Manual_v3.0.05_AC_EN.pdf" from ACTi (I could not upload the file - 10MB). 2. Check Storage Management on page 78. 3. Check Schedule Recordings on page 60. 4. Check Configure Motion Settings on page 51. I've had one E53, two E72s working well with NVR 3 (7/24 recording). It uses much less memory and CPU power than BlueIris. I stopped using it and have switched to MileStone XProtect Go. MileStone XProtect Go uses more computer power than NVR 3, but still much less than BlueIris. I now have three ACTi cameras (mentioned above), Foscam 8910W/9820W, and Sharx SCNC2700W. They all work well with MileStone XProtect Go. MileStone XProtect Go has better remote web client and Milestone Mobile Android app than others. Good luck. P.S I have had the Foscam 8910W/9820W, and Sharx SCNC2700W cameras from my CCTV Kindergarten class!!!
  4. 1. Less CPU usage. 2. Camera's motion option. 3. Multi-camera playback 4. Better search tools. I am willing to pay double - to be fair!
  5. Thank you, buellwinkle. You are one the best ones in this forum.
  6. Hi All, Please help me to decide to get ACTi E72 or Hikvision DS-2CD2132-I. The ACTi E72 costs more than twice of the Hikvision DS-2CD2132-I, and they have almost identical features, except the ACTi E72 has MicroSDHC. Of course, I like the cheaper one, but I worry that if I miss something else. I currently have the E53, and I have to reboot it once a while because of the Troubleshooting page. Thanks.
  7. My ACTi E53 has exactly the same problem. Running firmware: A1D-500-V6.03.17-AC. My switch is GS108PE ("802.3af power consumption: 45W maximum (Ports 1-4)", which is about 11W per port). I have connected the ACTi E53 to one of the four ports, and non-PoE devices to the other ports. The problem has also happened to the FS108P (32W, only two connections: uplink and the camera). My post: http://www.cctvforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=19&t=36093&p=221562&hilit=acti+E53#p221562 Thanks.
  8. Hi All, At least once or twice a day, my ACTi E53 camera does not send out any video. Every time it happaned, its web page shown the Troubleshooting page. I normally pick the option 1. One time, I picked the option 3 and re-did all the settings (really pain), it worked for few days. I do feel that every time I upgrade a new firmware, I have to set the camera from the factory settings. Did anyone have the same problem? Running firmware: A1D-500-V6.03.17-AC. Thanks.
  9. It is really a great post. The part that I like the most is camera brands! " title="Applause" />
