    Video Clean Up Software

I emailed them. Looks like they sell the software to do it. I'd like to find a online service that I can hire to clean it up for me. Buying the software package probably is very expensive. Their demo's on the website are awesome.

    Video Clean Up Software

Hi, Sorry was on vacation for a week and didn't have internet access. I am going to Lower my cameras 4 ft. and add better lighting. My Lorex model does not have a alarm trigger port. Its a Lorex LNR280 I ordered a wifi LiftMaster MQ to hook up to my unit so It auto shuts after 5,10 min, and has a App for Iphone. They have a garage Hawk - but its wired, and very simple/basic. I am waiting for a call back from the police who took the video to the middle school down the street to see if they recognise anyone. Thanks all!
  3. Hello, I had some young teenagers go into my garage and go through my vehicles steal some cash, and a few other things, all while I was up Inside the other room. I had my garage door opened and that was there in. I found out later they broke into two other vehicles down my street. The footage is too grainy for them to identify the kids, I was wondering if anyone knew of any software or ways to clean up at least a snapshot. I have a Lorex NVD 1080p IP system. Here are the two videos : Is there anyway to clean these up? I am a noob and don't own photoshop or know where to begin. The police say its pretty hard to identify the kids from the footage. Any help would be good, as my neighborhood has been the target of these break ins for the last 2 years.
  4. JoeyJoey, I feel ya on the motion setup I get lots of false alerts. Mostly from Tree limb shadows, Insects, Birds, and Car lights. Its irritating but something I can live with. I set most of mine at 0 or 1 (never -1) on the netHD Client (or the 2nd tick on the NVR GUI). I too see some differences in the grids, so I always do it on the NVR as I thought the NVR was doing the compare. How are you able to go directly into the camera settings? Are you unplugging it from the NVR and plugging it into your switch/hub and hitting the device directly? Are you sure that the motion is being checked in the NVR and not in the camera? I have been unable to figure that out with certainty. Because when I enable motion detection in the nvr, the motion detection is also enabled in the camera, the same for sensitivity value. If the motion is in the nvr, i'm ok with that, as long as I know. The grid you draw in the lorexapp doesn't match the grid in the nvr when it is saved, the aspect ratios are different, the bottom of the image is chopped off. I will post screen caps later. Have you been successful in getting any motion alarms at all, ever? For the sensitivity setting, from the LorexApp, from left to right it is -1 , 0, 1, 2, 3, 4. From my testing, the higher the number, the more sensitive it is, to the right.
  5. I have the same system as you do. I am not familiar with all these websites you can configure it for that you mention, just the below: 1) NVR GUI - The Actual NVR software 2) Lorex netHD Client What other places are you able to set this setting? I would say, always trust the NVR GUI as it is the one that is actually doing the motion pixel comparing - not the cameras themself (as far as I know, but I'm still a noob with POE/IP Cams) I always set the motion settings on the NVR GUI itself on the unit, not the hdClient App. My question to Lorex (still un-answered) is on the sensitivity level is it more sensitive or less sensitive as the slider goes to the right? (undocumented everywhere)
  6. I live in Arizona in a very nice neighborhood gated even... And we have break-ins here weekly. My neighbors probably think i'm paranoid but... better safe then sorry! Sorry man - I feel for you!
  7. I just took the lorex back! im guesisng its a 40mm May I ask why?
  8. I am really impressed with the Lorex NVR. I do not have the Swann NVR, but coming from Swann D1, and the 2600 The UI is fantastic - the tools and remote views are Excellent! So far no issues found with the Lorex NVR. The only thing I had to do is pull cat 5 cable through my attic pulling the coax out with the cat 5 tapped to it That didn't go as smooth as I hoped for as I didnt use enough tape and pulled it off and had to crawl through it in 100+ degrees.
  9. Thanks, just put in my order in for a pack. This if funny. I tried ordering these cameras off lorex's site and they are not for sale yet. I had to open a few tickets to them just to get a answer, and here it is: Ticket Updatedcreation date: Wednesday, May 8, 2013 Hello Scott You recently submitted ticket number 117560 has been updated by a member of our team. You Asked Us: New Dome IP Camera Lorex: Hello, We have not been given a definite time for the release of this model of cameras, however logistics has informed us that it will be at least 3 months out from now. Thanks, Lorex We hope this has answered your question sufficiently. Please contact us again if you require any additional information. Thank you, Lorex Technology.
  10. Hi All, My first post here. I ordered the Lorex NVR from costco with the 4 cams last sunday. Why? I had SUPER bad experience with Swann. 1) I started out with a 8-2600 a few years ago - worked great, just crappy images. I really only want motion detection images due to me being away from my business 60% of the year. If I see something shady then I log on with netviewer and play back that channels alerts. 2) Upgraded to D1 TrueBlue 8-3000 last month with 4 bullets and 2 domes from costco. I was getting motion alerts 500+ emails. I messed with the sensitivity timings, and values to no avail - it was to the point where if I moved up the sensitivity it wouldn't trigger anything. I would exclude the street or trees in the view, but it didn't matter - it always triggered regardless. I thought the cameras were crappy except the 700 tvl domes - so I bought a few new additional 700 TVL with good IR to test with. Still the same issue. Adjusted the settings to low FPS, lower quality etc...Still the same. First call to Tech Support - Seemed to be from India. Of course there tech support hours are great...They always have a human answering. This human is worthless and can't help you at all - alls they are are appointment makers and very bad at that. They make an appt 2-3 days later for a higher level tech between the hours of 6pm and Midnight (MST). Higher Level Tech support guy knows less then I do. He checks the firmware and says its good, it must be a faulty DVR and they send me new DVR a week later. New DVR arrives. Same issue with the alerts like crazy. This time I try setting a mask where trees or street traffic is. DONT DO THIS. their software is bugged, and MASKS don't work and will send your unit into reboot hell. I know this because I was able to do the exact same thing with their previous unit that I hadn't shipped back yet. I called Tech Support again, set up a time 3-4 days later - and then that time came and gone, I stayed at the business from 6pm - midnight for nothing. Highly Pissed I called back to setup a new time. I didnt get a reason why I wasnt called back but was on hold while he was checking why for 30 minutes.... but I was assured they would call back in 2 days between 6-midnight. Well that time came and gone - NADA - no call again! Highly irate the next day took all the cameras off the building (5 of them) PIA! and took it back to Costco where they gave me cash back. Highly impressed by Costco! So from this experience Swann can kiss it. Ordered the Lorex NVR 8 channel - and waiting for their website to sell the new dome ip cameras (website has them, but for some reason you can't buy them yet) I will give my review on how the new system works as soon as I get the unit. So far I have not got a shipping notification yet. Koz
