  1. Does anyone know how to be able to view a Hikvision 2032 ip camera's video feed using Chromecast? Tinycam Pro says they support Chromecast, but I prefer to find a Windows software based solution if possible (hopefully free)
  2. I can get everything on my browser screen to show up on Chromecast except the actual video feed. I assume the it has to do with the video codec not allowing the transfer.
  3. New firmware for Hikvision DS-2CD2032-I, DS-2CD2132-I, and others that use the same firmware. Version 5.1.0 Chinese Version https://anonfiles.com/file/472a0c87a27624f54db5771f2cd3fca1 USA Version https://anonfiles.com/file/e99975d3136bcf9498124a31c494b4d0 Enjoy!
  4. Glad to help out when I can. The firmware came from my supplier in China.

  6. We have a Hikvision ip camera that we want to be able to view on multiple tvs throughout the house. Does anyone know of an inexpensive way to accomplish this? I prefer wifi or cat5 to distribute the video, but open to other options. Maybe an android device with hdmi out for each tv? Other?
  7. I was hoping to be able to view the camera in 1080p if possible. Do the android sticks have enough processing power to handle the camera at full resolution?
  8. I can not figure out how to view my Lorex 1080p Costco special without a nvr. It shows up on my network using the Hikvision camera finder software, but the ip address does nothing. I even tried Blue Iris with no luck. Any suggestions?
  9. Does anyone know if I can use other small gauge wire instead of cat5 between video baluns? Maybe underground sprinkler wire? Would different wire affect video quality and usable distance?
  10. I changed the local ip address in my router to 192.0.0.1 and now I can access the camera. Thanks!
  11. I already have a bunch of sprinkler wire, twisted pair, and similar, so I was just wanting to know if I can use that up before I go buy cat5?
