    Hello from New Zealand

Greetings from New Zealand, Hi My names John, I work in industrial electronics. I'm the one in our worshop that gets all the cctv and other wierdo camera/monitor/access control jobs. Have been in the the electronic servicing trade all my working life. Originally from the UK. Hope to be of use at times, and also be helped on this forum. Cheers
  2. Hi; can anybody help with advice regarding a cctv monitor that the ability to mirror (horizontally) the video image presented to it. I am in the process of installing two cameras on the opposite side of a paper machine, the reason for placement on the oposite side than on the operators side, is that servicing the present two are very difficult, due to heat extremes and to to gain access requires the use of a gantry crane. When the crane is in the right place to gain access to cameras, its also blocking the image I need to see/set up. In fact its just downright dangerous, I won't go up there again! The position I have choosen is under cover, and on the outside of the building, so no heat issues! I have it all set up, and getting great images, cables have been run in the roof void space to the control room, I could use "old school" crt monitors and swap the horizontal scan coils connections on the plug. But its a new set up, and new monitors would be the way to go (if possible) Thanks in advance
